Soldanza Yuca/Cassava Chips, 1.59 Oz (Pack of 24)

I first tasted these chips on a trip to Barbados. I was hooked. I kept looking for a source online as they are absolutely addicting. Crisp, lightly salted, not greasy, with a hint of sweet towards the end. Do not try these unless you have good self control. I made the mistake of introducing these chips to my family and work mates and now I have to share ... or feel selfish. I no longer eat potato chips or the French fries that were once my weakness. One bag is 150 calories, cholesterol and guilt free ....... and definitely does NOT cost 14.50 per bag. Hint to my mates... Look out for Briggs and Carver as they have the best price and service. Now that I have shared that tidbit, T and R stop bugging me and get your own.

Cassava has always been my favorite in mixed root vegetable chip bags so I am glad to see the sold alone. Terra being bought out got rid of the cassava in their mix and cheapened. The crunch and flavor is perfect. Good value too compared to buying individual small bags in stores. Just a nice treat to have on hand.

Great texture and taste. Been buying this product for years. Disappointed that I received a batch with a 3 months expiration date. Wish seller would post expiration date for bulk food items. Thanks Amazon customer service to make it right.

I order a case at a time, because I cannot find Cassava Chips at any grocery stores near me. I prefer the taste and texture of these chips to ANY of the chips in the grocery stores. They taste less oily and less salty, less of false flavors, and NO monosodium glutamate! Thank you to the makers of these chips!

The cassava (Yucca) chips are delicious. Very thin and crispy with a naturally sweet flavor. The problem is this order you receive a dozen tiny bags that are only 1.15 oz. I expected for the price that they were going to be 12 large bags (~5 oz). The seller is located in Trinidad/Tobago which explains the shipping costs. Too bad... I will not be ordering these again due to cost.

I consider myself a chip connoisseur. I love chips, big and small, large and tall! There are some half-steppin' chips out there (you know who you are!). These are crazy good! Think Lays original, but not quite as salty, and with a texture that can only be described as even more pleasing than kettle cooked. Probably because it's not a potato, but from one gringo to the rest of the world, you owe it to yourself to try these. My 24-pack was like 13 bones, which made it about $.50 a bag. 50 centavos for the equivalent of a bag even wally world would charge a buck for of a domestic equivalent. These chips will break your heart when you run out. Legit that good. Just eat em, and thank me later!

We've eaten many boxes of the Cassava chips. They are (1) a little oilier than regular potato chips - but it tastes great like that, and (2) a little thinner than Plantain chips - so much lighter & crispier. We finally got a box with really, really oily chips. My wife thought they were "wet" but it turned out it was just oil. So they were a little soggier but we have to say, they tasted even better. The oiliness is NOT similar to the oiliness of potato chips. It's very different. It's a clean taste. Like olive oil dressings are greasy but not in an unpleasant way (for most people).
