Great socks for comfort, effectiveness, and durability.
I bought these Alvada Merino Wool Hiking Socks Thermal Warm Crew Winter Boot Sock to go on a hiking trip to Alaska. The socks arrived on the date indicated and was in a secure package. The socks were a true fit and the material was both durable and comfortable. While in Alaska the temperature dropped to below 30 degrees and my feet stayed warm even while wading in water. At a price of 3 pair for less than $20 how could one go wrong. After getting back to Michigan I continued to wear the socks while shovelings snow and they continue to hold up very well. In fact after getting back to my home I ordered me three more pair! These socks are certainly a 5 start product for their comfort, effectiveness, and durability.

Toasty socks at a cool price
Not quite as thick as I had hoped for, but good socks nonetheless. Still thicker than average socks, and very soft, fit well and seem to provide good compression when I tried them on. Should be nice and warm come the cold weather.

I'm a sock person
I'm a sock person, especially in the winter. We keep our house cool and I need comfortable socks that keep the feet warm. These sock are plenty warm and they hold up very well after several washes. I have also worn them in the field on my job and they do not disappoint. They're nice looking, comfortable and soft. They handle moisture very well and they are well made. When the temperature dropped to 28° I had no issues with cold or damp feet. I worked outside for a four hour stretch and my feet remained dry and warm. I will definitely buy more again when needed.

Comfy
Second purchase. My husband buys a set of these every winter. Yes, he wears them year 'round and does a lot of hiking. Arvada is the brand he asks for because of their thickness and quality. They keep his feet warm and dry, don't stretch out of shape or bunch up, and don't promote foot musk.

Value and Needs met
Purchase these socks for a Christmas trip to Germany. I found these to be a good value! They looked good, worked great and kept my feet warm. They were thick enough to do the walkabout night time Christmassy Weihnachsmarkt and drink hot wine stuff. Overall a good sock for urban winter living in Colorado. For rural outdoor winter living conditions, I have heavier wool socks to do the chores. In Winter, wool is my friend. Why, ... Even when it's cold and wet, it's warm and dry. I also like Gore-Tex and other modern fabrics too, but I wear merlino wool inside a dry suit when in Iceland.

Perfect for the Winter
If you're looking for high-quality socks that can keep your feet warm and dry during winter activities, look no further than the Alvada Merino Wool Hiking Socks. These socks are an absolute must-have for anyone who spends time outdoors in colder weather, whether you're hiking, skiing, or just braving the chill of winter walks.I’ve worn these socks on several outdoor excursions, and I’m truly impressed by their performance. First off, the material is top-notch. Made from Merino wool, the socks provide incredible warmth without being overly thick or heavy. Merino wool is known for its moisture-wicking properties, and these socks definitely live up to that reputation. Even on long hikes, my feet stayed dry and comfortable — a game-changer compared to cotton socks that tend to get soggy and cold. What sets these socks apart is the perfect balance of warmth and breathability. Despite the cold temperatures outside, my feet didn’t overheat or get sweaty, which is a common issue I’ve had with other wool socks. The socks seem to regulate temperature really well, keeping my feet cozy without causing discomfort.Another standout feature is the cushioning. These socks offer just the right amount of padding, especially around the arch, heel, and toe areas. This makes them ideal not only for hiking but also for wearing with winter boots. The extra cushion provides added comfort during long treks, while still allowing for a snug, secure fit inside boots without feeling bulky. The construction of the socks also deserves mention. The stitching is solid, and they hold up well after several washes. I've worn these socks multiple times, and they’ve maintained their shape, softness, and effectiveness — no pilling, no stretching out of shape, and no loss of warmth. The 3-pack is also a great deal. It gives you the flexibility to rotate between pairs, so you always have a fresh pair ready for your next adventure. Whether you’re hitting the trails or just looking for warm socks for everyday use, these socks will have you covered. One more thing I appreciate is that they’re unisex. Whether you're a man or woman, these socks fit well and provide the same level of comfort and warmth. The fit is perfect for both regular and wide feet, and they stay in place all day without sliding down or bunching up.In summary, the Alvada Merino Wool Hiking Socks have quickly become my go-to socks for all my winter outdoor activities. They're warm, comfortable, durable, and they keep my feet dry no matter what I’m doing. If you're serious about staying warm in the winter, I highly recommend giving these socks a try — they’ll make all the difference on your next adventure.
