Richbrook 6600.69 Black Short Anti Theft Aerial

I think it looks really good on my car and reception wise is perfect. I travel to work 35 miles and swapping through different radio stations I did not hear noises or any loss of signal, both on dab or FM/AM.Be aware the antenna is solid and needs removing in the car wash, it's easy to dismount/mount though. Talking about this, I do not see the unti theft feature I read in the box, and there are not instructions. Other than that pretty happy, I recommend this.

I was a bit nervous about buying this aerial having bought a similar but cheaper one that didn't really work. I needed a short stubby so the aerial on my Nissan would not catch on my garage roof. This definitely works, I do get most of the stations from the London region the original bee sting aerial picked up. However the signal for some channels is not as clear for local channels when on the outskirts of town. Also can drop off when going under bridges where it didn't with the original. Overall I am happy. It works and has not affected built in sat nav and I no longer have to take off the aerial each time I put the car in the garage. Will use the original or stick with national radio on long journeys out of time to avoid having to keep retuning. One negative was that the paint came off around the tightening slot when I tightened it which was a bit disappointing as it looks scratched. Not disappointed as overall happy with my purchase.

Well the reception was amazing !when the aerial arrived I had already arranged a finger buffet and some canapes, nothing to fancy you understand just a small celebration between a few close friends, there was red and white wine on offer and soft drinks for the drivers among us.Well to say we had a lovely evening all round does not do it justice, it was everything I could have wished for, and you can bet I will be arranging something along those lines again for when the next item from Amazon arrives in a few weeks time !

After reading many reviews good and bad i had the impression this aeriel wasn't going to be up to much siting loss of reception as it's main fault,well i thought the only way to find out is to send for it and try it myself,as it must beat having to tie a duster round the aeriel of my Picasso to get it in and out of the garage without snapping it off,then having to stop half way down the road to pick up the damn duster because you had forgotton to take it off!! Well to be honest it works a treat,there has not been any loss of reception and it looks neat and tidy i'm very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone who has trouble with long aeriels and garage doors. Brilliant !!!

It looks great, but I changed my wife's aerial and she moaned that she lost the signal in the hilly areas and couldn't keep one when she finally got a signal. She had no problems like this before with her own aerial, so I had to change it back. At the moment I have yet to try it on my car.

Very good quality and the reception is only slightly less than the original. To be honest the basic radio in a Scenic is rubbish anyway. Have brought a few in an attempt to get good reception and get under the garage door. This is the best so far.

It works well (security wise) and so far no one has helped themselves to it. Unfortunately it does not pick up the signal as well as the original one did.Particularly noticed when driving along the M1 to London where I am continuously tuning and retuning the radio to get good reception.

Good quality aerial from Richbrook , only reason I have marked it down is the tool that supplied is made of a soft metal which has now bent whilst tightening it up on my car and has scratched the aerial
