I ordered 60 inch hoses to replace the old 48" all rubber hoses, which looked ready to blow! You will never forget the feeling coming home and hearing the rush of a ruptured hot water washing machine hose. That happened to me ONCE, never again. This new hose set gives me great confidence that I will never have to deal with THAT mess a second time. So why did I reject them and use the mediocre rubber lines? 1: Right angle too large. The whole reason for right angle fittings is to get your machine hard up against the wall (without kinking the hose). These elbow fittings were just a lot larger than they needed to be, especially in the dimension we are trying to minimize (extending back toward the wall). I could save another 15mm by using the rubber lines and their cheapo fittings. (just a bent tube with crimped connector vs the fancy elbow casting) It is depressing to install an inferior part, but who wants that extra gap? 2. More importantly, the thread cut in the elbow fitting cap was quite incompatible with the plastic threads on my GE washer. I tried and failed many times to get it to engage, until it dangerously crossthreaded and started to ruin a new $900 appliance. By contrast the cheap rubber lines threaded easily with fingers and snugged in with a channellock pliers.

Quality and finish looks good. Have not had a chance to install them yet due to construction in the laundry room. Will update my review if i have an issue with them. The price and availability on Amazon was very good compared to the big box hardware stores.

This is the correct size for LG washer. I believe the inner line is bigger for good flow. No more knocking in main water line during washing circle. I tried two cheaper brand and lots of knocking/pinging in main water line. Spend the extra money and get the 1/2 inner supply line.

Just purchased my second set of the hoses. The first pair lasted 6 years without any issues! Decided I'd replace them while I have the dryer pulled out to replace a GFCI outlet. The hoses look in great shape and would probably last even longer, but why chance it?
