No other lock works for me. All the other ones I've tried break easily or are too hard to open and close on the fly. The only downside to this lock is that ever since I started using it, Superman has stopped going to karaoke with me, which sucks because we were like the best karaoke duo before I made this purchase (you should see us doing "More Than Words" by Extreme - you'd likely cry a river of tears). I knew this lock would potentially cause a rift in our relationship, but I thought I could just stop riding my bike to karaoke night and that would be good enough. Turns out I get ghosted by the dude immediately, and I just didn't realize how emotionally abandoned I would actually feel if something like that happened. I guess I'm saying I now realize we were closer than I had originally thought, and I might even have feelings for the guy. Going to therapy tomorrow to explore this more so we'll see. What I don't like the most is that it is heavy. Very well made and should last awhile, as long as I don't leave it out in the bad weather. I have a smaller one, same generation. It is just hard to figure out how to secure a wheel and the frame to an immovable object at the same time (with the small one). I now use the smaller one to secure the second wheel to the frame.
