I bought this after seeing a review about someone buying it for their basset hound. I also have a basset hound and this has been a great buy so far. I ordered a medium (like the other reviewer did) and it’s the perfect height for my little legged queen. It’s easy to clean and assemble. My hound makes a mess while drinking water so this helps contain so much of the mess! It’s been so great. With water splashing all over the place I’m glad the neater feeder is plastic. Again, so easy to clean. I wish I bought this years ago for my girl.

I bought this amazing pet food stand to raise up my cat dishes so my cats would vomit less after eating. I pair it with the Cat Guru dishes to slow their feeding more. I have had mine for over two years and it has stood up well while feeding several cats. The height is perfect for my large breed cats. I love that it is easy to take apart and clean regularly. It does what it is supposed to do: raise up the food for the cats. It is perfect for the job of feeding cats and easy to use.

I am so please with this product! I have a blind dog who can only find his water bowl by pawing the air until he steps into it. Neater Feeder prevents this. My dog can easily find his water each and every time without making a mess.

This is a great product. Our puppy can't overturn the dishes. Where if I have a water dish outside she takes the bowl of water and dumps her bowl. Very easy to clean!! I love this product!!!

This Neater Feeder Deluxe felt like a step up from ordinary bowls. The elevated design puts food and water at a comfortable height for medium dogs (~40 lbs), which seemed to help reduce neck strain and messy scooping. The bronze finish looks nice and the whole unit feels good quality. Sturdy plastic, solid construction, and the bowls sit in the frame snugly. That said, somehow my dog still manages to get the bowls out and throw them around. The bowls lock in better than loose dishes, but a determined pup can still flip or slide them if they want to play. The raised tray does a good job of containing spills and reducing water splashes on the floor, and cleanup is simple since the bowls are removable and the tray wipes clean easily. It’s bit pricey, but you’re paying for the build and the no spill concept. If your dog is a gentle eater this is a great, tidy upgrade. If your dog likes to bat at bowls or toss them, plan on adding a non slip mat or a simple anchoring solution to keep everything in place. Overall a solid, attractive feeding station that works well for most medium dogs and looks nicer than basic bowls.

Product as described, works as expected!

I've been trying a few different dog feeders for my senior dog with poor vision. I needed a solution that was less stressful for both of us and so far this design is a WINNER. I wanted the high back / elevated design to discourage her from 'stepping on' the feeder on accident and confusion. Also, with the high sides to encourage her to find her way to the front of the feeder versus the sides. AND... an enclosed bottom/front portion to prevent nudging/tipping the whole thing over on accident. The spill tray is also a win for water that splashes or kibble that drops. This is very smart design, thank you! My only con is the use of metal bowls. They are very lightweight (and deep) and I wanted the feeder to be as stationary as possible. So I simply re-used my existing ceramic bowls to add weight and make the food/water less deep (included photo shows my own ceramic bowls resting in the included metal bowls). My dog is 12 lbs and I purchased the medium size. It's the perfect height for her and keeps everything stationary. She caught onto it quickly. One side note about the stainless steel bowls, one bowl came with what appeared to be black grease around the rim of the bowl. It took some significant rubbing to finally remove it all and then I ran them both through the dishwasher. At first I thought the bowl was used, but it must have been grease or residue from the manufacturing process that hadn't been removed before packaging. If you receive something similar, please note it will come off but you have to rub with a towel for awhile. The item arrived in its own branded/retail shipping box. I highly recommend this style of feeder to lower the stress levels of both YOU and your pet! :)

My border collie Prince recently had his lower jaw removed due to cancer- and this neater feeder couldn't have come at a better time The lower tray traps all the water and his drool and this was a perfect height. He was not straining. Durable and strong product- as Prince tends to tumble (due to medications) near the water bowl and it doesn't topple as it is pretty stable on the floor. Unfortunately he is still being hand fed but this feeder fits two water bowls allowing him to have his desired water intake per day.

I originally had the large version of this for my German Shepherd Noah who very sadly passed away earlier this year. I brought that one from another seller. But I now need a slightly smaller one and managed to get the size I wanted from Amazon - these are brilliant definitely reduce mess and and are easy to clean
