Flooded our kitchen floor twice.
I suspect most of these ice makers work just fine. But just be aware that sometimes they can fail dramatically. When this ice maker was about 1 year old, it jammed, but in the worst possible way. For some reason, the "rake" mechanism must have been pointing into the ice tray when the water first filled. Then when the cubes were extracted, they were stuck on the end of the rake like popsicles. As they rounded the top, they jammed the mechanism with the rake pointing up, exactly in the position in which the water valve is turned on to fill the tray for the next load of ice. Not being able to advance further, the water ran and ran and ran. After cleaning up the mess, I watched the ice maker very carefully, and it would not repeat the problem. I therefore attributed it to a freak event like a power failure at the wrong time in the ice making cycle.Fast forward several months to today: It did exactly the same thing in exactly the same way, with the ice stuck on the fork in exactly the same position. And we were home this time, so we know there was no power failure. The exact repetition of the prior incident tells me its a defect in the ice maker.Rather than subjecting our hardwood floors to the risk of further damage, I'm replacing the ice maker.

Perfect fit.
You cannot live in Florida in the summer without a tall cold glass of ice tea. My icemaker went out and I called the store where I purchased my refrigerator and it was going to be quite expensive to replace the icemaker with them so I went to my go to place Amazon to see if I could find a suitable replacement. This was a very good value for the money. It was pretty much plug and play and it was working that same day and I was able to have my tall cold glass of iced tea. I highly recommend the seller and I just love my Amazon.

18 Month Review, If yours is jamming oftern Read This
Doing this review after 18 Months of usage. Bought this as a replacement for my original ice maker after it burned out the heating contacts. It jammed shortly after replacement and slowly got worse over time. Ice was often deformed from too little water. And this condition grew worse over time. I thought it was just a cheap ice maker and at least it was easy to un-jam. Then it froze up completely. There is a rubber tube on the refrigerator that feeds the water into a small reservoir and the reservoir was full of ice and the tube was frozen. I recall seeing this problem on YouTube and the culprit is not the ice maker but a seeping water solenoid valve on the refrigerator.I replaced the solenoid valve but you need to remove the ice maker to defrost the water tube and clean up the mess (optionally you could turn off the fridge and let it defrost).I was impressed with the fact the coating on the ice maker tray looked like new.I have been getting perfect ice without jams since I replaced that solenoid valve, this may have been what doomed my old one.So like so many others, I am very happy with this ice maker. Good product and a great price. Also, I hoped to pass on my experience with the water solenoid valve for those of you who may be having jamming problems or tray fill problems.
