Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 SE Headphones - Bluetooth, Active Noise Cancelling with Hi-Fi Sound, 100 Hour Playback with User Replaceable Battery, Gaming Mode and Carry Case - Blue

I had the P100 which I thought were brilliant and astonishing value, sadly my sister sat on them and broke one of the stems holding the cup. I have asked CA if its possible and economic to repair them and await an answer. I decided to buy the new SE model and have been listening to them all day. I don't know how CA manage to sell these for £200 because the are astonishingly good. I have owned Sony and B&W and these are so much better, astonishing sound quality, great base, very comfortable and good looking. The upgraded app is a big improvement, I accept that they don't fold and I'm not really bothered about that, I took the P100 to Egypt last year and it wasn't a problem. I own a pair of very expensive IEM's and they are really good but they are 7 times the cost of these. I listened to the 12 inch version of Bob Marley, Waiting in Vain and even at 73 years old they gave me goosebumps.

OMG so comfy Fantastic build quality Crisp sound but I can't get rough bass in them as yet Connected to my TV easily and great playtime on them via Bluetooth

The headband hurts the top of my head after about 15 mins of use. The sound is very clear and quite loud but I would like a bit better bass tbh. The EQ is very responsive. The worst problem I had with these is the Bluetooth progressively got worse over a few weeks until it just refused to pair with my TV Any more. Very annoying as I use headphones to not wake up people at night. I ultimately sent them back which was a shame.

These are fantastic sounding headphones. Tried them using Bluetooth with my iPad and they sound very good. Tried them wired with an external DAC and they sound even better. Tried them with a Sennheiser BTD700 and they use Bluetooth lossless codecs to sound fantastic. Smooth treble and deep bass, all well defined. Highly recommended.

They have great sound, comfortable and the battery seems to last for 100 hours. 5 stars

I ordered these Headphones based on the excellent reviews on Amazon and the presentation by Cambridge Audio. The headphones are well build and well presented however the sound quality was very disappointing. The base response is good however the mid range and top end seemed rather muffled and distorted. I tried the Headphones on a variety of devices eincluding PC, iphone and my Hi Fi system but the sound was disappointing through all devices whether connected via Bluetooth or cable. My 10 Year old JVC headphones sound better than these.

Fantastic noise cancellation and amazing sound quality I’ve heard from headphones. Better build quality, with the metal extendable headband, then its contemporaries which adds to the good value these headphones are. Not the best comfort ,but it’s fits ok, but if you wear headphones for a prolonged period then wouldn’t realise

Estos auriculares ofrecen una calidad de sonido superior al que su precio parece indicar. Equilibrado, potente, sin bajos retumbantes ni agudos estridentes. La app es basica pero ofrece control sobre los aspectos principales, anc, ecualizador y actualizacion de firmware. En cuanto a comodidad de uso, aunque no son los mas ligeros, no suponen ningun problema para llevarlos durante horas, sobretodo cuando te has acistumbrado a ellos. Sobre los codecs de audio Bluetooth, encuentro a faltar LDAC pero esto un problema sobretodo por culpa de mi movil Samsung, que no admite formatos Aptx mas alla del basico. Para acabar, la bateria dura una barbaridad, te olvidas casi de cargarlos. Muy contento con este dispositivo, de una marca mas orientada a un oyente audiofilo pero plenamente asequible

Ottime cuffie, si possono ascoltare anche col cavo. Rendono Il massimo con aptx lossless o cavo.

Anfang des Jahres hatte ich den ersten P100 (ohne SE) mal probegetragen und sofort wieder weggelegt - zu sehr hatte sich der Druck des kaum gepolsterten Bügels auf eine Stelle meines Quadratschädels gelegt. Hier hat Cambridge entscheidend nachgebessert. Ich kann den SE durchaus mehrere Stunden ohne negative Begleiterscheinungen tragen. Klanglich hat sich auch etwas geändert- für mich nicht nur zum Positiven. Die Abstimmung ist leider das, was man wohl "consumer-friendly" nennt - basslastig. Zum Glück kann man das mit dem 7-Band-Equalizer der App recht gut bereinigen. Da muss man etwas probieren um den eigenen Sweet Spot zu finden. Den DynaEQ schalte ich i.d.R. ab, der fügt dem Zuviel an Bass noch eine Schippe dazu und schaltet sich zudem bei jedem App-Start wieder ein. Hier könnte nachgebessert werden, schließlich merkt sich der Hörer auch die sonstigen EQ-Einstellungen. Mitten und Höhen sind recht ausgewogen, mit der Klarheit und Durchhörbarkeit kommen nur wenige drahtlose Modelle mit. Nein, Bose und Sony gehören nicht dazu, ein Sennheiser Momentum geht in die richtige Richtung, klingt aber dennoch etwas schaumgebremst. Einem mehr als doppelt so teurem Focal Bathys kommt der P100SE gefärlich nahe - wenn EQ genutzt wird. Die Batterielebensdauer ist nach wie vor top mit 60-100 h. ANC muss ich noch im Detail prüfen, der Ersteindruck beim Staubsaugen ist ok. Gut auch, dass man das ANC deaktivieren kann - dann ist auch das leider recht deutlich vernehmbare Rauschen weg. Gemessen am Preis trotz des basslastigen Klangs "out of the box" knappe 5 Sterne. Nachtrag: Noise Cancelling ist mehr als ausreichend, kurioserweise ist die Stellung "mittel" besser als "hoch" und rauscht zudem viel weniger. Dazu passt dann auch das EQ Profil "flat".

Ho avuto modo di avere per qualche tempo le Bose quietcomfort ultra , le sennehiser momentum 4, e le ace sonos. Personalmente sono rimasto molto contento della qualita dell'audio, che reputo inferiore solo alle sennehiser . Suono corposo , i medi e gli alti presenti molto soddisfatto. La qualità costruttiva è veramente molto alta, si ha una sensazione premium in mano , i materiali sono ottimi e la confezione (molto voluminosa) è ben fatta. e inoltre si ha la possibilità di cambiare batteria e padiglioni con semplicità TOP. La note dolenti sono 2 per me: Sono delle cuffie onestamente ingombranti, sono molto grandi un peccato per la portabilità. Il secondo punto le ho reputate molto scomode, pur essendo a detta della descrizione migliorata l'imbottitura, sono state le uniche che mi hanno dato un pò di fastidio durante l'utilizzo. Un peccato
