This one does have its mysteries as the power switch/LED light is a little difficult to figure out. I wish they'd just write the instructions right there on the casing. The first night I started using it, it inexplicably started beeping. I googled that and found it happens to some people. I restarted my computer and it behaved normally. Two months on and it is working fine. That being said, the LED light is extremely bright and it does occasional blinking during the night. It seems sensitive to motion. When it blinks, it lights up the room, and if your bed is nearby, you're going to hate it.
