This algae scraper works great and makes cleaning the aquarium glass quick and easy. The magnet is strong enough to stay in place while moving smoothly across the glass. Don't know why I hadn't bought one of these sooner!! This Fish tank cleaning Scraper / brush works wonders on helping to keep you fish tank glass nice and clear. It came with two attachments. One is for glass tanks and one is for acrylic tanks. The use is simple....a very strong magnet holds the part of the unit with the scrub area securely through the glass for you to move back and forth / up and down to thoroughly clean the glass easily removing algae buildup without the frustrations of putting hands in the tank's water. The magnet is very stable when using it to clean and is very durable for repeated use. A must have for fish tank enthusiasts.

Works great! It has great cleaning power and is a great price. I have it in my 10 gallon set up so it’s a little big but it would be perfect for a 15 gallon. It’s very durable and the weighted side actually works so if it slips it actually falls up!

Does a decent job. Some spots of algea not removed by this. But most freen algea cleaned.

Great quality, very strong magnets, this is perfect for my 10 gallon aquarium. It comes with 2 scrubbing pads that snap into place so you can use it for glass or acrylic tanks. The pad for glass has a warning printed on the back to advise it is ONLY for glass, that will help you tell them apart if needed. Otherwise blue scrubber for acrylic and black scrubber for glass. This is very effective at cleaning the inside of the tank. Intuitive design and size. There is a nub on one end to keep the scrubbing above the substrate. You can go slowly around the corner and the scrubber will hop to stick to the next side of the tank. This does not float, but will sink straight down if separated. This is my 2nd one to be able to keep nearby for both the upstairs and downstairs tanks. You can compare the included before and after pictures - on the before pic you can see the clean paths from snail travel on the inside of the glass, on the second we are nice and clear - victory!.

I have a 50 g acrylic tank that had a heavy growth of algae on all walls. I odered the medium size which was quite appropriate for the task and also fit the dobie scrubber well. Finally had to take action and this worked well but the acyrlic pad did not clear the algae. Youtube research suggested affixing the scrub netting from a dobie scrubber would clear the algae. Voila!! This worked great and the walls are now totally clear of algae with no scratches and with only moderate effort. Tank and fish now look great. Quite a reasonable price and much more affordable than other pricier options.

It works to an extent but it has one major flaw. It doesn't go across the glass smoothly, instead it will stutter / skip across, leaving streaks and not cleaning well. Also disturbs the fish a little. I'll show the video
