This is good strong thread. I purchased the string with a core. After my first try with it, I noticed the knot was becoming a little loose and the ends were becoming frayed. To fix this, I put a tiny drop of glue on the knot and also on the fraying ends. The problem was immediately solved. The ends no longer fray and the knot stays tied.

False advertising! I bought this to suspend a cooking grill from a tripod while winter camping. The cord burnt and caught fire after holding a regular bic an inch away. Waste of money!

Grâce à son matériau en kevlar, cette cordelette noire est très fine tout en ayant une forte résistance, de l'ordre de 90 Kg (200 lbs). Elle ne pèse rien et ne prend pas de place, ce qui permet d'en transporter beaucoup de longueur tout en l'oubliant ! Personnellement, j'en porte en permanence 12m dans ma poche dans un sachet zip de 6x4cm, et plus de 30 m dans un autre sachet zip dans mon sac à dos. Bought this to create a patch with 1680-denier, polyurethane-coated ballistic nylon. Worked with that material and heavy-duty denim flawlessly. Purchased mainly for its ability to handle high heat in case of a slide on asphalt. Haven’t tested that out, fortunately. Thickness is ideal, for my purposes.
