I needed a USB on the front panel this was a great panel mounting USB to give the access without opening the case every time

Just as described, nicely packed. Reasonably decent quality for the price. The only hitch is that the screws provided are self-tapping type. The socket is made to take machined screws, I believe M3's. Not a problem for me as I have plenty, but it could be for someone less equipped.

It's the right length for my homemade laptop

Frustrated that this is a 4 pin cable as I had hoped an extension cable would have all 5 pins connected, but it does say that in the description, so It's not the seller's fault. My only regret is not checking before I cut this open, else I would've returned it knowing.The cable is a good construction however, nice quality

I ordered this for a Raspberry Pi based project. It works for power delivery, but the limitations of the micro USB system for delivering power is something I wasn't aware of. I get extensive under-voltage warnings from the Raspberry Pi using it. Not the fault of the product though. Knocked one star off because the screws were quite short, but a minor detail.

I managed to use the adapter, installed it successfully in a piece of equipment. However, the screws supplied are, bizzarely, the wrong size. They are the wrong diameter. They don't screw into the threaded holes in the socket at all, they simply fall right through.Luckily, I had a couple of screws of the correct diameter and thread in my little jar of little screws, so it was fine for me, but obviously anyone else would by stuck.I don't think I'm the first person to point this out.
