Men's CMF6066 6 Inch Soft Toe Boot

I had two pair of the boots that Carhartt discountinued before these. I believe that this model is the one that replaced those. My old boots were the best boots I ever owned, I am a mechanic and stand on concrete all day and honestly, after 18 hrs or so, my feet felt fantastic! These new boots are not quite broke in yet so they are not as good but I am hoping that they are just as comfortable as my old ones. I did notice that they are improved design over the previous model, better traction, metal loops instead of leather loops for laces, different stitching (old ones both blew a seam on inside arch area) so I really hope they are as comfortable. You can't go wrong for $100. I got over two years out of my old Carhartts, these should make that too.

I've had these about two months and wear them almost every day. It's always a gamble to order clothes online and I expected to return these. I have wide feet and selected this option when ordering. I was surprised at how well these for. And the only "breaking in" needed was getting my lower leg used to a boot that rides so high up above the ankle. I had some very minor bruising near the top of the boot, but either the boots softened up or my legs toughened up. Either way, they are very comfortable. When these are used up, I expect to purchase another pair

carhartt makes a decently wide boot. wish the the toe area matched up better with the width of the knuckle to prevent hammer toes. an example: red wing's widest boot is ~3.5" at the knuckle. carhartt wide: knuckle width is ~4.5" a few years back I tried redwings widest soft-toe boots available and I could barely walk, even after a week of wearing and trying to break them in. Then I found the carhartt's and it's been good... usually get 2-2.5yrs out of a pair of boots until the leather blows out by the pinky toe. I have VERY wide feet.

I bought these for my son who works outside in the dirt, mud, rain, etc. He loves them. They fit perfect , true to size, and are very well made. Very warm in the winter. Would buy again.

Only boots my husband will wear, lasts the longest and keeps his back from hurting

Rubber soles let go partially then worsen until no good. Bought at least 4 pairs hoping first ones were not the usual. Every pair was a throwaway at 5 months or less. Very disappointing because they felt very comfortable. Carehartt products are not the quality they were in previous year's. But to be fair I guess you could say that about many previously reliable brands.

very comfortable I bought three pairs so far they only last one season but I beat the living hell out of them cement water you name it I've paid $300 for boots spending only lasted 2 or 3 months in my profession

Fantastic boot fits great very comfortable sometimes I choose to wear them out instead of my other shoes eventhough they are meant for work
