Excellent carving tool for clay. Sturdy and well made. Easy to hold and use.

I’m new to pottery and slowly adding tools to my kit. I like the comfort of the handle— it’s thicker and has a subtle “give” that makes it easy and comfortable to hold and use while working over multiple pieces at a time. It’s perfect for my needs to carve small details into my pieces.

This tool is ergonomically perfect. The handle is so easy to hold onto and the tips are excellent for carving.

Well built tool works well. Would not recommend to people with small hands or weak hands/wrists. This tool is quite heavy and hard to hold for me. I like my diamond core tools better.

This is definitely my favorite Pottery tool. I use it often and the rounded handle makes it comfortable to grip like a pencil. The fluting is very small. See attached picture. The tips on either end are able to be removed and replaced with different sizes, but I have never done so.

I absolutely love this tool. It is so comfortable to use and the small nibs allow for precise trimming. The handle is is a soft rubber like material so it doesn't slip at all even with wet hands. The trimming nibs on either end do a great job of removing material cleanly. The nibs are also removeable and other shape nibs can be used. Highly recommend this tool for fine trimming or carving work.
