Great value lights
NOTE: I purchased these lights on Oct 23, 2014. Hopefully, they are still the same manufacturer as they were then.I had another nearly identical light from another seller that ended up crapping out on me after one winter's worth of use on a lawn-tractor-turned-snowblower. These lights, however, have stood the test of time, vibration, wetness, and insane temperature swings, of two Maine winters. It's also worth noting that I leave these installed all summer long on my lawn tractor, as well. There are no dead LEDs or sections, like I've seen on other products. In the long winter nights of northern New England, it's tough to move snow at the end of the day without an extra source of light, and these have performed admirably. These lights produce a medium-temperature light, in the 3700-4200K range, and are focused in a relatively tight spot. They throw good light all around, but the most usable light is straight ahead in a narrow cone. I have never verified the power consumption, but in my past experience with LED lights, the brightness seems to match what I would expect for this amount of power. The housings are study, and although the "stainless" hardware shows some minor signs of surface corrosion, I won't mark it down for this - after all, at this kind of price point, you have to remember that you get what you pay for! I'd rather the seller skimp on replaceable hardware instead of the internal components. The waterproofing has held up VERY well, especially considering the snow and ice that build up on these during snowblowing, then melting, refreezing, etc. There's zero condensation on the inside of the glass, which feels thick enough to take a pretty good hit without damage.Overall, I've been very impressed with these cheap little things. They are sturdy, produce good light, and don't require double-checking the bank account before clicking BUY.

Bright but NOT 27W.... only 15W.
Received 2 modules for 1 order which is what I was expecting. Box was small but It did include both lights and all of the mounting hardware. The LED's run at 15W and not 27W as advertised. They say 27W because the LED used inside are CAPABLE of 3W. However they are only driven at 1.5W ea.It is a 30 degree Semi-flood light. NOT a true spot light. A spot light is around 10 degree beam. This is more of a flood than anything.Overall a very good light so far with the 30 minutes that they have run. Very bright even for only 15W. I am thinking of pulling them apart and changing out the sense Resistor to drive them at the full 27W if they can maintain a low temperature with the heat-sink.- Electrical engineer for Solid State Lighting.

Good for the $.
For the price, they are good. Maybe not quite as much light output as I had hoped. Several Chinese manufacturers seem to make the same basic product, so I wonder if some are brighter than others? Definitely a flood beam, not a pencil beam, as they light up trees above, and areas all around, with no real distinguishable beam. Installed them behind the grill in my 2005 Honda Element. Make sure to seal around lens with clear epoxy or silicone, as well as where the wire enters the back of the light, this way you don't have to worry about water entering them.

Easy to install and very bright
Just received these and installed on my tractor today. Since these have their own pigtail wires, I decided to add to rather than replace my old rear lights. Easy to install (I drilled new holes in my fenders for the brackets). Determined the fastening nuts are 14mm and not US size, which is fine. I used inline wire connectors to connect to existing wires. Black = ground. It is daylight now, but the lights appear very bright. I will look forward to seeing how they look at night. This is my snow blower tractor (PTO mounted) so these new lights face rearward. Will be especially good on dark winter mornings.

Nice but read the reviews
Well built, can't say that it is a "spot" or "pencil" beam though. More of a general floodlight. Very difficult to peel pack any insulation from the wires as it is molded on. so be sure to have room to run the 1/4" diameter lead (at least the 14 or so inches that it is long). Cast a very bluish white light, I would say good out to about 50'. Great for a low amp draw general floodlight. Not good if you plan on using it as a supplement to your headlights. Well made and heavy duty, should last for years.

other than the bad solder I have no complaints
I bought these for additional lighting on my wifes atv. One light didn't work when I recieved them. I had to heat it in the oven to weaken the lens sealant and once removed I found the solder failed on the ground wire. I resoldered the ground and tested it, it worked. I've had these on the atv for a year now through the freazing snowy winter and the rain. No problems they still run strong, other than the bad solder I have no complaints.

great but not as advertised
Nice bright lights but certainly not spot beams by any stretch of the imagination. I origanly had two 18w rectangular led lights on my brush guard and 4 on my roof rack which put out plenty of light but I wanted more distance. So I replaced the two on my brush guard with these and while they are noticeably brighter they were not what I was hoping for. I gained some distance from raw lumens but not from a focused beam. Still good lights. Will replace 4 on roof rack with these too.

Bright Auxiliary Lights
I mounted these lights behind the grill of my 2006 Subaru Forester. I turn them on when there's no other drivers around while driving through dark streets. They light up the side of the road pretty well. I aimed them pointed a little bit outwards to light up the sidewalks to see pedestrians at night. I made a video to show how they light up sidewalks and driveways. I already ordered a square 48W LED version of these lights and can't wait to try them.Sample video:http://youtu.be/xoxlFrrEOIQ
