Kids Balaclava Boys & Girls - Breathable Yet Warm Organic Cotton Face Mask

I purchased this hat for my large-headed (:-P) nine month old son. Truthfully, I probably never would have thought to buy a hat like this before. No reason, I just tend to gravitate toward typical stocking cap and bucket style hats. But now that my kiddo is older, those don't stay on all that well as he is constantly pulling them off.*This is a great cover up for the spring and fall months and, honestly, I will probably use it in the winter as a lighter weight cover up.*The fabric is VERY nice, super smooth and soft and I am always a fan of all things organic. And the construction is beautiful.*The material lays nicely on his neck and chest which makes it easy to tuck under jackets and, in his case, his fleece sleeper.*Now, being nine months old, having anything put over his head and face is met with resistance but once it's on his ginormous head, he has no complaints. We got the 1.5-3 year old size due to his 99% head and it is snug during put on but once it's on, it fits very nicely.*The colors are vibrant and the designs fun and different. There was a nice variety of designs to choose from as well.*A random plus. It came with some tiny raw wood colored pencils that my daughter promptly stole.The only 'con' I have is that we have not yet washed it so I cannot speak for how it will hold up after a wash. I assume since it is cotton, it will shrink if I wash on hot or dry with high heat so....I won't do that. :-DWe will see how this holds up on the chilly days we are currently having. I am bummed that summer is approaching but we will still have some use left come this fall and winter. Then maybe I will have to get one for my 4 year old as well.

I think it is a very good hat but my daughter needs some more time to get used to it. She is not used to the bottom part coming on her face, but I have noticed that if I convince her to wear it then she gets used to it more and more. I told her it is a ski hat and she has to wear it when it is snow and she does. I had to show her the benefit of wearing it on the face when it is windy and at 3 years old she looks like accepting it ;-). It is quality cotton, washes well and it is warmer then expected.

this does say it is for mild weather but with that being said, if the weather is mild enough you wouldn't need this

This worked great for us on a ski vacation. The fabric was so soft and our son, who does not like hats could not pull it off and he didn't try. I highly recommend this.

I like that even though the size is for 5-9 year olds, my 3.5 year old son can wear it, and he can wear it under his bike helmet. Here in Alaska, we try to get outside as much as we can in the winter, so if it's 15 degrees or more, then we're going outside! This balaclava will help protect his face from the cold.

The hat is very nice, super soft and comfortable! Just perfect for little kids, who tend to lose their scarves, since the hat is a hat and scarf in one. I recommend this product highly!It also came with a little surprise to my little one. Nice gesture!

We love the balaclava we got for our son as an extra layer when playing outside! I ordered a size up so that it might fit him next year as well. I was hoping to see the merino wool version for winter so that we don’t have to order internationally.

Very cute hat! The material is soft and stretchy. I like that it keeps the head, ears and throat warm - very well made hat. I will order it in a larger size for future use as well. Baby and I are happy with the purchase!

Highly recommend these. It’s a must at school! Neck, chest, ears and head all covered in one thing, so much easier for the little busy people who would much rather spend the time playing than faff around with hats and scarves. Saved a lot of ear aches and colds this winter!

I am very happy with the hat scarf. The delivery was quick, the hat looks exactly like in the image and the quality seems to be very good. I bought the pink color with hedgehog’sfor my little sister. She loved it and wanted to wear it straight away to the playground. I would definitely recommend the product for young children.
