Embroidery and Tapestry Weaving

This book is very interesting, it brings details and inspiration. However, the Kindle edition comes without chapters, which makes manouvering cumbersome, and, most important, it comes without the figures that the text refers to all the way through. With the figures, I would hva rated the book much higher.

I bought this for the tapestry weaving. The missing book plates did not bother me because this is a free book.

The usual instructional book

Obviously the questions of this review are for story books. This book is a more how to and history book. Very informational.

If you wish to have the illustrations for this ebook, do a search on Google with the title and author. The site engine should direct you to Project Gutenberg, a free source of ebooks. From there, just plug in the title and author (if you haven't arrived at Christie's book already), and download the kindle version with images. All of the missing figures are present in this document.Good Luck! 8-)

This book is a good historical reference to embroidery and tapestry. A good reproduction. I arrived well packaged and on time.

Very informative this was a very good read, the patterns were good and very easy to follow I recommend this book.

I found that there was insufficient details, a lot was assused as to how much you knew. Definately for the more experienced Embroider or Tapestry maker.

a useless book could not follow it at all itkept reffering to charts what charts there are none in this book a waste of time and money iwould not order any more books from this firm tonyhanley
