My hair is looking great because of this product. I have fine damaged hair and it now has volume and I like the sheen.

I haven't permed my hair in 3 yrs but it was time due to my natural hair being hard to manage so this kit did the job and my hair is silky smooth and straight, thank the Lord!🙏🏾👍🏾Also know if you buy this the perm is not in a container, it's in plastic so you'll simply need a disposable container to mix step 1 and step 2!

Since there’s much more good news, I’ll start with the bad news and get that out of the way. The bad news is the directions steer often in tiny print so you’ll need a magnifying glass to read them. Also, when you mix the 2 processing bottles, the smell is horrible. Dead fish comes to mind. There is no mixing bowl so you’d need to provide your own, which is understandable. I used a plastic bowl and discarded it when done. The good news is this product is rather easy to use and will produce fantastic results. I started using it years ago because they made a children’s formula. I’m not a child nor am I African American, but I needed something mild because I have fine hair which is naturally wavvy especially in humidity. Think frizz. I didn’t see a child’s formula so I risked using an adult one. I left it on for no more than 6 minutes for the application and 5 minutes comb through. It came out totally relaxed and extremely soft. It also had a nice shine. The smell disappeared after all was said and done. There is more than enough product in the box to do your entire head, so all things considered for $6.95 it was a win win all around!

Haha! My daughter likes to gate keep this product because its the only touch up relaxer that does the least amount of Damage to her head. Her hair is a mix of 4B and 4A, mostly 4B. But she says this relaxer works really well for all her hair. So much so, her hair is retaining length, which was a huge struggle with other relaxers

It was amazing but the burn

I loved this African Pride hair product. It leaves my hair very soft, manageable and with less frizz, without feeling heavy. The aroma is pleasant and lasts a long time. I have noticed better definition in my curls and less frizz between washes. I would buy it again.
