Fortessa Vitraluxe Dinnerware Heirloom Dinner Plate, 10.75-Inch, Set of 4, Charcoal

I love these plates. The color can be a perfect background of nice food, like a canvas. The shape is not that regular round, and that exactly what I like. The surface is quit durable and still be nice after cutting the steak on it. One minor reminder. It’s easy to leave your finger print on the plate. So make sure your hand really clean, then place your table.

Please note the picture. The “black” plate is the plate in this order. The gray plate is what I thought I was ordering as “charcoal gray”. I like the black plate and it looks good with the gray and the small gray plates and bowls I have. The 1st picture of the plate in Amazon is gray. Look at the rest of the pictures in the set. The actual color is the black plate. I ordered another set because they do go well with my gray set. My big plates are all chipped and I’ve been unable to find any plates that were even close in shape, color, etc. I just got this order so no idea of durability or sturdiness or chipping.

The plates are definitely not grey. They are completely black. I bought the charcoal 10.75" and received full on black plates.

Just the color and finish I was hoping for. I used these black plates against a red table cloth for my Christmas table and it was absolutely stunning. The color is not jet back, almost more of a dark charcoal, and the satin finish was just the look I was going for.
