Awesome for covering my grey when I want to rather than having to use harsh hair dye every few weeks & just rinses out so I can keep leaving it natural.

This is a temporary color--better than permanent color which usually has ammonia, which ruins your hair, dries it out, and gets dull over time. Plus you can change color when you want. It's only $1.64 per application, which lasts about 3-4 shampoos, and roots don't show for a few days or a week. When they start to show, just dab with a little 2" x 2" terry cloth soaked with color on top of your head and sides where your roots show. If you color on top of previous color that's too much color. I've used this for 20 years and everyone tells me that my hair is pretty and shiny. The only problem, which has a solution, is the pillow case gets color on it. So just get dark, brightly colored pillow cases. You will be beautiful.

Can't find that brand in stores anymore. I tried the plush brown kind and wow! I look twenty years younger. It's lighter on the scalp than dying your hair - dyes have been known to give you leukemia - but rinses like this one washes off after a few weeks. You need to reapply a coat, but it's less damaging for the scalp.

This is a version of a product that has been around for many years. It is a temporary color that washes out with one shampoo. I got this to use on light brown hair colored with permanent salon-applied color that had faded to an ugly brassy, reddish blonde with too many highlights. I am using this while growing off this salon color. Plush Brown is just right, corrects the brass and tones down the red while darkening the highlights slightly. You need to put this on the colored hair, not the roots, which can be a bit tricky. Use a coloring brush dipped in the dye or put in your palms and work through the hair with your fingers. It will not permanently stain your hands, your towel or your sink. Washes off with water and hand soap. It does not affect hair texture or cause dryness. Great product.

This is a good product if you either have just a few greys to mask in your hair and use one close to your hair colour or if your roots are starting to show before a trip to the salon. I have only used it for small areas, for which I think it works well. I don't know if it would be good to cover one's whole head.
