Better than MIM Strat Tuners
I Need that vintage look on my guitars. These came as described and work great.

Finally
I tried two no-name tuners on my 50s throwback Fender strat neck before this. The first one didn't fit (was tailored for a 10mm hole). The second one fit but was such poor quality that I had to return it. These work and work well. They fit 9mm holes. Yes they're "vintage" style and a bit hard to align on the first go-through but just keep at it until they're evenly spaced and straight. It will take you 10 minutes. This was the design back then and if you have a neck that takes these and only these tuners then.. this is what you're looking for. Don't cheap out.

Highly recommend
Perfect fit without modification. Smooth operation with good tuning stability.

pretty good tuners. worth the money.
Just bought these for a classic player strat neck. They feel pretty great and fit perfectly. Only 1 star is lost because there is a little "slop" in the tuners when tuning down.

Vintage style, top loading. Usual predictable Fender guality.

Fender's lack of quality control is inexcusable and laughable - nonexistent is their QC
In the set of 6 tuning machines and 6 bushings. One tuning machine did not fit in any of the 6 bushings. I was going to return it. Then I said "This is a Fender part, it can't be out of tolerance by too far." 2 hours of filing and sanding on the tuning post and it still did not fit. It took me three hours. I regret not returning it. However, my son needed the tuners in place so he could practice. Waiting another week for tuners was unacceptable. I bought Fender Tuners because I thought there would be good and never dreamed that there would have been a QC issue such as the tuner does not fit any of the 6 bushings. This tells me that they do not check anything. It is not Factory Tested for fit, check with size template gauges and/or checked with a micrometer. I now have to purchase another set because the one I worked on is a little lose. It barely got the job done but my son was able to practice and better tuners are what his guitar needed. I am very disappointed with fender. 1 in 6 failure rate is 16% - not good. You would seem to think that a company like Fender would shoot for 10% or less. I would suggest not purchasing these for anyone who wants tuners to fit inside of the bushings which come with the tuners. All 6 bushings fit like the one in the picture where it is not down on the shaft. That is after 2 hours of filing. The picture where it is down on the shaft/post is one of the tuning machines without filing. That is how the other 5 fit. Disappointing Fender. Since I chose to get by, I am out of my money and still have to get new tuners. Bad all the way around.
