These Flanders 10155 filters are manufactured consistently from box to box and are well made and sealed. This is as pictured with the continous spun glass fiber, merv 4 which is a high flow filter that minimizes restriction on the air flow which is better for the system. Don't expect your house to be an ISO class 1 clean room with this filter, get a 5 inch deep pleated media filter cartridge and prefilter installed on your furnace or a hepa system for that. The metal retainer on the downstream side of this filter keeps it from bowing inward and creating a flow path bypassing the filter like the cheaper ones do. The model 10255 has the retainer on both upstream and downstream sides for a heavier duty application and is additionally available with synthetic polystrand fiber, model 11255. These are more expensive but also top shelf disposal industrial grade filters. I received a box of 11255 with a new HVAC install some 15 years ago and have been resupplying with 10155 ever since. If you forget to change the filter don't worry about this filter collapsing, but your air pressure might become imbalanced and tax the system. Great robust filters.

Sized right. Filters as expected. Fairly flimsy material but still works effectively. I’d buy them again.

I like this product because it has a metal backing to support the fiberglass. Using the newer hepa filters might filter slightly better but it does put a strain on your furnace motor and sooner or later you will be replacing it. I'll stay with these filers and save money and my furnace motor.

Fits like a glove. Was told by AC guy to get this style. The solid style puts a strain on unit. This catches the dust, etc. Great to get a years supply, no quick trips to the store!

Just what I wanted at a reasonable price. Delivered promptly and they came in the factory box. Perfect condition. They were white, not blue, but so what?

Inexpensive but does an excellent job. My experience with the more expensive ones is they seem to impede good airflow.

I changed from the expensive filters I was using on the advice of my daughter. Even though these may have to be changed more often, I'll still save money. As a retiree, that's important to me.

They fit perfectly, and I bought a case of 12, so I can change monthly.They aren't too thick, like some.The price was right, too!Best price I could find.
