Plan out the mounting location of the can and check the fit if it’s near the hood area when closed.
I recently purchased a new to me 2014 F150 ecoboost and just like many new owners I started researching a number of things which led me to the RXP Catch Can. I watched a video from a ford mechanic talking about this product and the importance. I then started digging deeper into research and made the decision to purchase this kit. I will not debate wether it is or is not needed just give my opinion on the product and installation process. First off the kit is put together very well. Nicely wrapped for protection during shipping. Every item needed was in the kit as well as a few extra items mostly for other applications. I watched the installation video and formulated my plan for installing the kit. I wanted the can outside of the engine bay so I located it to the passenger side next to the radiator just behind the grill of the hood. This area you must make sure you have enough room. I was able to fit the can and still close the hood without any issue. The installation is very easy if you follow the video instructions. The kit even came with a thread tap to thread a couple fittings. Once installed I started the engine to check for any kind of vacuum leak. With none present I opened the drain port and was shocked at how much vacuum was actually present. Anyhow I have approx 100 miles on the kit now and opened the drain yesterday while I was filling up and it was bone dry.The point of my review is to let others know that this kit / product is really nice and put together very well, installs really easily and looks good and hopefully will help keep the engine a bit cleaner over its life. Truck has 33K on it and runs and drives perfectly. This kit I installed to help keep it that way.I will say be patient after you purchase because they do build each kit to order I think so it takes a few weeks but in the end I am pretty happy with this purchase.

Just ne precise with hose measurements
Very easy to install but just the exact amount of hose. No room to make error. But turned out very well. Completely installed in less then an hour
