I absolutely love these! I’ve probably purchased them at least five times in the past month alone, and I keep coming back to them because they work so much better than other brands I’ve tried. They stay warmer for longer than any of the competing heating patches I’ve used, which makes a huge difference. They’re convenient, comfortable, and provide long-lasting heat exactly where I need it. At this point, these are definitely my go-to heating patches, and I’ll continue buying them. Highly recommend!

This package contains 24 disposable, air activated Pixie warming patches. Each patch measures approximately 5×3.7 inches (12.7×9.4 cm) so it covers a useful portion of the lower stomach or back without feeling excessively large, heavy, or bulky underneath clothing. When you are ready to use one, simply open the sealed wrapper, expose the patch to air, remove the adhesive backing, and attach it to your underwear or clothing. Never place the patch directly against your skin. I wore one of these Pixie warming patches on the first day of my period, right as my cramps were starting. I kept track of the timing because I wanted to see how quickly it activated and whether the warmth would remain consistent: 16:25 - Put the patch on. 16:32 (7 minutes later) - Starting to feel the heat. 17:00 (28 minutes later; 35 minutes total) - Still comfortably warm. 17:40 (40 minutes later; 1 hour and 15 minutes total) - Warm and cozy. 19:02 (1 hour and 22 minutes later; 2 hours and 37 minutes total) - I came back home from running errands and realized I forgot that I still had the patch on. It was continuing to maintain the same comfortable temperature. 23:11 (4 hours and 9 minutes later; 6 hours and 46 minutes total) - The patch had cooled off almost completely. I removed it at this point. Before trying this product, I was very skeptical. I strongly doubted that I would be able to feel much heat through my underwear. I was absolutely shocked and extremely impressed by how well it performed. It worked exactly as intended and genuinely exceeded my expectations. My first impression was that I really liked the packaging. The 💜purple and green💚 design is eye catching without looking over the top or childish. You can keep the patches neatly and discreetly stored inside the original box, which is thick and sturdy or easily transfer them into another container if that works better for you. The attention to detail continues on the back of the box, where there is a helpful visual showing how to position the patch over your stomach or lower back. There is also a very noticeable reminder that the patch should not be placed directly against the skin. I think that warning is extremely important and I appreciated that Pixie made it so clear. About 8 years ago, I used to experience horrible menstrual cramps. I would purchase large heated back wraps, turn them around, and wear them over my stomach instead. They worked....but they were bulky, quite expensive, and you did not receive very many in the box. Nowadays, there are so many products available both in stores and online that the trial and error process of choosing the right one can become overwhelming. At times it is difficult to tell which companies are genuinely trying to build a solid customer base and which ones are simply trying to make a quick buck. I am glad that I had the opportunity to try this product from Pixie. The patch genuinely helped me feel much better! Pixie states that the patches can provide up to 8 hours of warmth. In my experience, I received closer to 6 hours of useful warmth, which I still consider excellent for such a slim disposable patch. The heat was not immediate the second I opened the wrapper, but it only took 7 minutes which is more than reasonable. The patch gradually developed into a comfortable, steady warmth rather than suddenly becoming intensely hot. Several times throughout the evening, I placed my hand over it to check whether it was still warm and I was pleasantly surprised that it continued maintaining its temperature for so long. The adhesive could be improved slightly. The patch may loosen or fall off while you are moving around, during light activities, or simply bending over, which is when it happened to me. I was able to put it back into position without much difficulty. I found that it stays in place better underneath fitted clothing like shorts, leggings, or jeans than it does when attached just to your underwear and then worn with something loose, such as a dress. In that situation, I would suggest wearing a lightweight pair of spanx or thin shorts underneath the dress. That extra fitted layer can help hold the patch securely against the intended area while still allowing you to move about freely. I also like that Pixie does not appear to focus only on getting customers to purchase the product. They take after purchase support seriously, which helps explain its “Best Customer Service” message. It is understandable that an air activated product like this may occasionally fail to heat properly. Pixie is forthcoming about that possibility, and states that it will assist in resolving that issue should it happen to you. That is reassuring and makes me feel more confident about purchasing this and other products from the company. One area that could be improved is the disposal information. I could be mistaken, but I do not recall seeing clear instructions on either the box or the individual wrappers explaining how the used patches should be discarded. This is especially important if someone removes a patch after only 1 or 2 hours of use while it is still producing a considerable amount of heat. I will absolutely purchase this with my own money. In the meantime I look forward to sharing these patches with my female friends and family.

I suffer with considerable arthritic pain in the lumbar area and my hips, so the relief I had within just a couple of hours of wearing the pad was amazing! It warms up gradually and is very comfortable to wear. The adhesive backing is strong and the pad stayed firmly in place all day. I wish I'd come across these pads earlier, because the pain I was suffering before using them was debilitating to say the least. Needless to say I will be getting them regularly.
