It is waterproof, and it does have a decent amount of insulation for a lightweight jacket. There are a few things that im not a huge fan of. 1. Im typically an XL, and whats weird about this jacket is that the torso portion fits true, but the shpulder area and arms are a bit tight and short on me. 2. There is a button on the cuffs that you can undo to fit your hand through, but it doesnt have any way to adjust the fit, so you can't make the cuff tighter to trap more of your body heat in. 3. The zipper feels a little on the cheap side, and it has gotten stuck on a couple occasions.
