The Pink Panther Cartoon Collection [DVD]

This box set of previously seen Pink Panther antics is as funny as when I saw it in episode form on the television several years ago. Each vignette is short enough to maintain the interest and attention of small children yet the cartoons also operate at another more mature level too. I'm surprised by now that the discs haven't been worn out. Extremely good value for money and hilarious to watch over and over again. To me the Pink Panther doesn't age like some cartoon characters and the quality of the cartoons are good even though Pixar etc have taken the art of animation to a higher level. MarvellousP.S. Bought this before and lent it to my granddaughter but never got it back! Her father is the same with my tools! Saw it second hand on Amazon and a daft price so bought myself another copy and watched it all over again. Only one complaint is the daft way in which the DVDs are set up, making playing the tracks more complicated than it need be, but still worth the struggle. Magnificent.

The Pink Panther Cartoon Collection [DVD ] This brought back great memories it has loads of dvd's in it and nearly every pink panther cartoon. Bought this for my little gir as she's mad on the pink panther and it's never off the tv i enjoy watching it too. This a bargain buy if you want to keep your little one's quiet for hour's. I'd recommend it any day.

Classic cartoons - fantastic to watch again. I would have rated this as 5 stars if they'd edited out the horrible canned laughter that was included on later episodes but, with a bit of willpower, you can tune out the nasty, false laughs. The stories are very funny, side-splitting at times, and every bit as amusing as when I first watched them in the 70s. They're so nicely animated too.Great fun - just rig up those canned laughter baffles before you watch, though...

As this is a birthday gift for my daughter, will not be able to review content until her birthday to start viewing on 15 December. However my parents have the same colleciton and say its awesom. Also nice selection, of the CLASSIC cartoons, at a very good price!

this box set is great watching ,especially if you were a kid in the 70s. these used to be shown on Saturday morning tv and here they all are together . absolute classicssomebody in another review said they were awkward to set up,a different format,i had no problem myself

This has always been one of my favourite cartoon characters, probably due to the extremely clever storylines. Something unexpected always occurs and leaves me thinking about why I didn't see that coming.I haven't noticed any problems about the display size. Perhaps it is the way my TV is configured, or maybe I was concentrating so hard on the action I never actually saw anything wrong.

A nice collection of the original 1960s Pink Panther cartoons (which were the best) unfortunately marred by the fact that they have been chopped by being forced into 16:9 (widescreen) format.Also, this DVD shows ONLY the original Pink Panther cartoons, and NOT the Inspector cartoons. Those who remember The Pink Panther Show that aired on in the UK in the 1970s may remember that it consisted of one cartoon featuring The Inspector, sandwiched by two Pink Panther entries. The 30-minute show was then connected via bumper sequences featuring both the panther and Inspector together, as well announcer Marvin Miller acting as an off-camera narrator talking to the panther. However, there is some bonus material on one of the DVDs that show the opening theme tune to the show.

It looks so cool with the sorta squishy feel on the case, though. And I actually love it! Everything on this set is all in good condition.

Well, if you are a fan of the Pink Panther cartoons.......then it doesn't get any more pink then this collection.This set contains every single Pink Panther cartoon ever made, including all of the shorts that played before the Pink Panther movies. There is enough material here to keep you busy for weeks of non-stop pink-a-mania.I love the slap-stick style of adult humor and comedy presented in the Pink Panther cartoons that the younger generation would have trouble understanding today. The Pink Panther was always written and intended for an "Adult" audience verses a children's audience.

Aunque no parece contener toda la animación de la pantera rosa hay que decir que la falta de audio en castellano tampoco molesta en exceso. En terminos generales tiene buena calidad de imagen y sonido.

i have enjoyed this cartoon ever since i've seen it since childhood so i got it on dvd. the dvd collection is great!
