Hunter All-Metal 12" Retro Table Fan, Onyx Copper by Good Housekeeping

I love this tabletop fan. I also have their tripod fan from a similar line. Both have been in use regularly for over a year and both are performing exceptionally well.This fan requires no setup and is virtually ready out of the box. The third different speed settings are varied enough to provide different noise levels and air movements. I moved my fan across the country with me and it survived without any issues; both cosmetically and mechanically.The style is classic and pairs well with wood-toned furniture and other rustic pieces. Overall a quality table fan on both design and function.

Unlike some people’s experience in the reviews ... mine came in perfect condition. It is solid heavy metal, and has a quiet hum (not noisy at all). It has a wide oscillation, and good wind power, and is an attractive fan. I was actually quite happy with it. Im using it at work , so I like the handle at the top so I can carry easier due to the weight. It’s brand new .... so hopefully no future power problems.

I purchased this fan to keep in my bedroom for sleeping. It's not super quiet, but it's no louder than any other fan I have purchased in the past (I actually think it's nice background noise to fall asleep to). The sleek metal design is much more pleasing to the eye than a plastic fan, and it does a great job at keeping the room cool. The first fan that arrived would squeak during oscillation (the button was off center and rubbing on the metal opening), so I exchanged it and the new one is completely fine. Would highly recommend this fan!

I see that Amazon doesn't really sell this fan anymore but other Amazon vendors do so wanted to let people know my experience. The fan has been amazing for 3 years (+4 days) and then it just kaput BUT I could see that it still wanted to work because when I turned it on, the blades would barely move but I could see that they really really wanted to move! And honestly, for $100 - this fan should last longer. I mean it's super solid, heavy but portable and so pretty for a fan! That being said - I thought since I would end up having to put it in the garbage anyway - why not take it apart and see what's what - so I did. There was some dust but not enough to stop operation. And I had some WD 40 handy so I sprayed that on several pieces that looked like they needed it and put it back together and voila! It worked! Right back to working like it was brand new. I am not a very handy person but it wasn't too bad taking it apart and putting it back together. I've read reviews where they say that it's not worth taking it apart but I really love this fan and for $100 - it was worth taking a look inside!

I needed a fan in our living room to circulate the air a little since our big bay window doesn’t open. This fan fits the decor of the room and it’s super quiet! So far, it seems to work really well, but I’ll update my review if it ends up shorting out. I’m very happy with this fan and think it was well-worth the price!! This is the brushed nickel finish.

This is a great little fan for adding a quiet, soft flow of air to your environment. Love the design and the simple features. I do wish (for my own purposes) that the strength of the breeze was a little stronger, but the size, low noise and vintage style make it acceptable to feature on our bedroom dresser. If we had adequate AC in our room, I probably wouldn't even care that the breeze isn't as strong as I'd hoped, which is why I'm not subtracting a star. And the lowest setting should be great for adding some subtle air circulation in the winter without making us cold.

Great look, works well. Nice size for tabletop. Quiet, good quality, effective. I’ve had another of same brand and similar style for several years, using it daily. It still works perfectly. I must say I’ve had problems with a floor model of same brand, the rotation feature is broken after heavy use. But the tabletop versions are great.

I first saw this fan earlier in 2020 while visiting a family member. They have 2, I think. We used it in our room and was so impressed, I bought one.Ours arrived and right off the bat I noticed a "ticking" sound when I turned off the fan and the blades were coming to a stop. I thought maybe the fan would "settle" and it was a fluke. I called Amazon and they were helpful to return, etc. Amazon sent another fan as a replacement. That fan's plug was bent! So, which one to keep? The bent plug one was sent back. Were we going to order yet a 3rd one until a proper running fan was sent?!?! Against our better judgement we kept the original fan. It's always made that ticking sound and every once in awhile the fan just STOPS! Well, today was one of those days. It was on slow and it just stopped. It's like it has a mind of its own. I contacted the company to replace and did not hear back from them. It is now out of the window for Amazon to take it back. If Amazon is willing, I'd return it and buy another.I like the fan and how it looks, etc. My sister has not had an issue with hers. This one stinks. It's a proper function nightmare. UNRELIABLE!UPDATE MAY 2021 - this bed is used on our night stand. Now the fan has a constant "knocking" sound as it rotates.So incredibly disappointed with Hunter that they NEVER reached out to resolve this issue by owning up to the problem and offering a replacement!
