We make all our products in house by hand "Brand new and unused, however, some of wood may have some very slight markings/imperfections. These are genuinely minimal, do not effect the gate movements. This can be a small mark of ink/stamp on the wood which usually doesn't even notice or could be easily rubbed out". All our wood is treatment; Tanalised ' E This is safe for humans animals wildlife organic vegetables and plants AND ( CHILDREN ) We use Tanalised Treated timber, this prevents rotting. The producers of our timber say that their tanalised timber should last at least 15 years, we do however, recommend that you treat your purchase every three years or so and they will last for many many years. Poor finish
Whilst its sturdy and made of decent wood (C16) the finish is very poor, its basically a half finished gate unlike the description stating 'ready to pur up' (presumably put up). Cuts not sanded down before assembly, screw holes not sanded, markings still present, screws borred through far side, large gaps and edges not flush. Will take at least 3 or 4 hours to reassemble flush, fill and sand any remaining gaps then paint instead of the intended stain. Unfortunate really as could of been a very nice product if a bit more time had been taken with the assembly.

expensive delivery cost, there is a lot of cracks in the base, and not a great finish. but the best I could find in the market.

Lovely sturdy heavy gate. Excellent value for money. Only negative was having to fill in where screws were used but no detrement to gate. Looks lovely painted and in situ.

Smaller than I envisaged, my fault did not check measurements, but we compromised with thicker stumps.
