4x4 Snap-Hoop For Brother/Babylock Embroidery Machine

I recently purchased and took delivery of the 4x4 Snap Hoop for my Brother 6700D machine. I am writing to say how disappointed I am with this product. I paid $118.27 for this hooping system and that I feel was a bargain but still too much for this product. While this hoop is in use you cannot touch it even in the slightest because it will shift out of place with your fabric following. The magnets are not strong enough and for the price you could have afforded to use an N48 Neodymium Magnets which is a 17 pound pull, more than enough for use on this hoop. I found them for $1.46 each retail, I’m sure your sources could have found a better price for them for you.And that is not all. As happens on occasion despite your best efforts, sometime your hoops fall onto the floor - when this happen with my Snap Hoop a magnet popped out. It was not glued properly.And because of this and the lack of strength I would never have made this purchase but I did and I will not return it because as I said I found stronger magnets for $1.46 each. I’ve ordered them and will replace the insufficient magnets with the new stronger ones. I will not purchase the upgrade top frame to the Monster Snap Hoop for the amount of $69.99.I am sending this email to DME Embroider (the maker of this hooping system), World Weidner – Machine Embroidery Supplies (where I purchased the hoop) and I am posting it as a product review on Amazon (through which I placed the order).Please note, it is not the responsibility of World Weidner – my intent is to make them aware of a substandard product that may affect their reputation as a retail provider. My intent with my posting to Amazon product review to give those interested in the product a fair assessment of the product. With DME, shame on them for using their skills and knowledge to not do the best for those that trust them.
