USB Sync & Charge Cable for Archos 404 405 504 604 MP3

Needed a replacement cable for my Archos 604. Since they don't make them anymore, it's a bit hard to find. The cable fits perfectly and works great ... and at a great price. If you need a replacement cable for your Archos '04' series, this is it!

Both cables when plugged into a USB charger start charging the Archos but shut down after about 10 seconds. I haven't tried it as a sync cable yet as I needed a charging cable first. By removing and inserting a few times it charged my Archos until it was about 50% charged. Frankly, I'm disappointed in them. I'll give them another try but these do not work as well as the original charging cable.

Since Archos no longer makes the 404 or any of it's proprietary accessories, I was out of luck when my charger broke. This product means the Archos lives on! The first cable they sent was defective, but the replacement does the job just fine.

Not bad for a cheap replacement cable. Works as expected but a little frail. Will need to be a little careful with this one but so much better than buying the expensive replacement from Archos.

The cable I received was very high quality, fits and works perfectly. I don't know if I got a better cable than the other reviewer, but I'm satisfied and would recommend this item and this seller.

I recently bought this item and it was dispatched ok and the item works just fine - I would recommend that anyone buy one as it is very compact and solid looking.

although it fits into my archos this lead doesnt work my pc wont even recognise my archos and everytime i plug it into my pc the archos just shuts down.

I just bought it because someone gave me one without charging cable and it's a 30 Gb in it.So for the price was very good.
