Bindi Baby Animals (Punjabi): A Beginner Language Book for Punjabi Children (Punjabi Edition)

Cute illustrations, good use of phonetic Punjabi and Punjabi script. I only wish I had come up with this first! A little pricey for what you're getting, though -- they're definitely taking advantage of the limited market here to overprice the book. If it were Spanish to English, this would cost $6 or less.

Love this book. Only complaint is that the pictures of the animals are more artistic than realistic. It would help young kids to see what a real pig looks like in order to associate pig and soor. It did also teach my husband the animals very quickly! I went ahead and bought the numbers book because I liked this one.

This was a nice concept for language skills acquisition but children who are learning are usually quite young and the book was smushed by my little one. Wish it was more sturdy...like maybe a board book even for a few extra bucks!

The colors are beautiful and the illustrations lovely. This is a great gift or to add to your own child's collection. It's not easy finding such lovely Punjabi children's books here in the states.

Very cute series

As with another of the books by this author, that I purchased, this too is a very colourful little book with fun, simple drawings to help a new little person learn her animals. My, as yet unborn, grandchild will be bilingual and it is not easy to find books in Punjabi that I am excited about. Daddy wants to start reading to her now and this will do the trick!

Beautiful book with gorgeous illustrations! It is hard to find high-quality Punjabi children's books, so this is an absolute delight. I would highly recommend purchasing it. My only suggestion to the author is to consider making it as a boardbook so little hands don't destroy it too fast :)
