Z-MAN Z Man Cb Chatterbait Elite bladed Swim

A very good bait to fish year round. I jumped on the chatterbait wagon a few years ago, and I am glad I did: These lures get bites, and usually catch keeper-sized bass, sometimes those kicker fish. Very good results. I think skirt baits and lures are good things to cast most of the year, if not year round and these are an example. I usually cast these on 17-pound monofilament line on medium-heavy casting gear with a moderate reel ratio, steady retrieve in all types of cover, structure, and water depth. Yo-yoing and jerking these works too, pretty versatile baits. I always pair one with a color-matching small swimbait trailer. Remember: Do not rule out spinnerbaits.

Once upon a time I was a very serious bass fisherman spending anywhere from two to five days a week on various lakes. That came to a screeching halt about 15 years ago. With in the last six months I am slowly getting back into fishing only not as serious as I once was and now fish out of a kayak and not a bass boat. 15 years ago as far as I know the ChatterBait didn't exist. Now I find out it's all the rage and I had to try it out. It did not disappoint. It's so very versatile and can be used in so many situations from the thickest cover to open water, shallow to deep water, just below the surface to bounced along the bottom and jigged anywhere in between. Fished at fast or slow speeds. I'm truly impressed.

Swimms well

I've got a trailer on this and the action through the water is great. You can feel the chatter in the pole too as you reel.The bait itself is good and warrants 5 starts but with a trailer I've been getting hits but missing getting them hooked. The hook on this thing is very good and very sharp but I've ordered some trailer hooks. Just to let you know. A trailer hook, if you have say a 4" plastic on this will probably be necessary.

Great for michigan

I have yet to take out a chatterbait and not catch a fish.Started using these a couple years ago, and with timing of my fishing excursions, my luck has held true.I can actually feel it vibrating, when I am reeling in. I can only imagine what it is doing to the fish!

The product is well built but I'm only giving it three stars because I've been using the black and blue as well as green pumpkin for almost 3 months now and still haven't caught a fish on either one of them.
