LA SIESTA Modesta Latte - Organic Cotton Single Classic Hammock

This is a beautiful hammock! And it's so comfortable! When we first received it, it was a little bit of a challenge getting on our steel frame, but it has slowly stretched out over time... We made the mistake of leaving it out for about a week in direct sunlight so there is a slight fade in color, but not much. I'm disappointed that winter has arrived in Montana because we had to put it away... Can't wait until spring/summer! I think this is going to hold up just fine. Buy it already!!!

I used this as a replacement hammock for my Costco frame (110" between hooks). Pay attention to the minimum hanging distance. You can do a shorter distance than what they recommend but it has to be higher off the ground or it will sink too much when you get in. It's very comfortable though and looks nice. Very easy to pull off the hooks and jam in a cabinet for later use. Haven't had it long enough to speak about it's durability. It's not very thick in my opinion but I think that's the norm. I could see it only lasting a year of it's left outside all the time. But might be longer.

This hammock is very comfortable, well made, and is balanced well. I have used other types of hammocks in the past, and had no clue just how comfortable a hammock could be until I had laid in this one. It seems to just guide you on how to properly lay in a hammock so that you are not suddenly lying in a taco. I have napped in this and really enjoyed it. I also love to sit in it to study.

This would be a five star review if the hammock lasted longer than a few months of daily use. I am about to purchase this item for a third time. The first two lasted for about three months each before individual cords started snapping. Otherwise, this hammock is cozy, comfortable, healthy, and free of chemicals. It's a wonderful hammock to have!

This was a solid purchase. I hung it from 2 porch posts that were 10 feet apart. I actually added some chain to make it hang down more, and not so tight between the posts. The material feels very sturdy and is also soft enough to still be comfortable and not scratchy. I could easily fall asleep in this thing. It does NOT comfortably fit 2 people. My husband and I tried multiple ways of laying to make us both fit, and it just wasn't happening, but it's a great 1 person hammock.

We own four La Siesta hammocks! They are sturdy, beautiful, and hold up to weather. We keep ours out 10 months at a time at our Caribbean villa, so this speaks volumes about the quality. The company is amazing to deal with--- they were exceedingly responsive when there was a fed ex glitch, and made it right despite it not being their fault! You will love the products and the integrity of the company.

I absolutely loved this hammock. It's truly all natural. There is no chemical smell, and the feeling of the hammock is very relaxing. I used it every day for over 6 years. I'm 220lbs and 6'2". I just replaced it today with the same exact version I bought 6 years ago. Thank you for this product!

This hammock was great in the beginning; it was very comfortable and looked well built. Five months later I'm starting to get afraid to sleep in it. Four of the suspension cords have torn apart. I was able to tie one together but I see a few more starting to go. The description says that it has a 265 lb capacity and I only weigh just around 200 lb. I figured that it should work just fine but I guess not. You might be able to get away with it if you weigh around 150 lb, but I can't recommend this hammock for anyone over that.
