It took a while for me to guess that the houseplant shown in this photo needs to climb. I finally ordered this trellis for Mini Climbing Plants. Six trellises came in the package - priced very reasonably. The sections easily snap together in a few minutes. The snaps are as flexible as hinges, so you can arrange the trellises at any angle that suits a plant of any diameter and its pot. The larger the diameter, the more sections you will need. I'm using 5 sections for this 7-inch diameter pot.After I snapped the 5 sections together, I placed them in the pot's soil, just inside the rim of the pot, and on the outside of the plant's stems and leaves.I gently coaxed some of the pink-dotted leaves and their delicate stems to the outside of the trellis, in order to access more sunlight, leaving the innermost slender "branches" and their leaves inside the trellis sections in order to provide enough support to continue growing further up the trellis.Once the plant's stems and 'branches" were arranged vertically in the trellis, it was as if the plant came to life for the first time. More of its leaves have access to sunlight and they are no longer competing with each other for access to the light and air.I purchased another set of the trellis pieces to accommodate the plant's now rapid growth. The second set snapped onto the first tier, so you can use these to grow a very tall plant - as tall as you'd like.If you have a wider plant than mine, you can employ the same approach, as the parts snap onto each other horizontally.More of the pretty pink and green leaves now have access to the sunlight, so the plant is climbing up the trellis rapidly.It's an unusual plant, and the trellises have brought it into its full potential.

I was not expecting much due to the price, but you get more than what you pay for in my opinion. These are plastic, but they not only move up they also attach side to side so if you have a wider plant. I needed this because my mint plant was getting a little out of control and this did the trick. I am so glad to be able to build or take away should I need to. This is definitely on my suggest list, not only does it hold the vines, but it's versatile in it's use. This is great for indoor gardening, I have not attached any of my outdoor plants to this item, but I am sure it would hold up pretty well. Happy home gardening!

I love using these trellises for my plants. They are sturdy and a great value price wise.

I tried to use these on a plant that had already been situated in its pot for a few weeks, but I’m not sure my plant appreciated it. My plant grows kind of like ivy, and needed a direction to grow in, so I bought this product and put two of them horizontally-linked together at what seemed like the back of the pot. I wove the little vines through the holes, but I think maybe for my plant size the rungs were too far apart (even though about 2.5 inches apart didn’t look like much to me). Once they were bearing the weight of the vines, it caused the racks to lean slightly away from the plant, which made it impossible to keep one or both notches connected; the racks kept leaning apart, which made them unbalanced, and one even fell a couple times. Because each rack comes to a point in one single stick at the bottom, it was very hard to get it deep enough or stable enough to balance by itself. I can’t imaginr stacking them higher than 1 piece, unless it was leaning against a stake or wall or something.

the only thing that I do not like is that I wish they snapped together on the sides better

Easy to use ,for one level beyond that look for better option, does not stand strait and when I tried to gently straiten it broke and now my plant is wound around a broken trellis. It's a mess

I have many plants that need support and these are fantastic for all of them, they look good and can be washed to clean off any dirt that might accumulate on them. Have bought 3 times and would recommend them to others.

These are great. Just the right size. I dont plan on stacking, I think they'd be too flimsy. I've used them by attaching them side by side.

I love that they can clip together both top to bottom and side to side as my plant grows
