Petmate Ultra Wheel Kit for Plastic Kennels

Not too bad, easy to apply.

My Husband put this together and said it was fairly easy to assemble. My dog weighs 16 pounds and we have medium size crate. It seems to pull with ease. The true test is going to be when we fly from Germany to Atlanta next month. only four stars because we haven't tried it out fully. Will give an update after we travel through the airport.

I have a heavy pet (85lbs) so I ordered two kits figuring they would be less likely to be under as much stress as I had seen in other reviews. I put two fixed wheels in the back and two moving wheels on each side (one in front and one in the middle along the edge). Unfortunatly the clips holding the wheels in are weak and broke on all but two brackets. Even just pulling the kennel along the smooth surface in the airport. When I pulled the kennel into the elevator three wheels fell off. Several times I had to stop and put the wheels back on as they would occassionally just fall off. It was better than trying to balance the kennel (XL size) on a luggage cart but it was still very difficult to keep the wheels on. If the clip system was better and held the wheels on this would have been an excellent purchase. Also one other thing is that it had to have small nuts inside the kennel which I covered with thick blanket and dog bed.

I purchased these to travel to the US from overseas with our 55 pound greyhound and her large kennel. When I received them, one of the clips was broken, so Amazon promptly sent me a replacement. Kudos to them. However, when I got the replacement, they were quite a pain to put on, and when the kennel was finally ready, the flimsy clamp from 2 of the wheels broke off at the airport. My poor jet-lagged husband ended up dragging around a huge kennel all the way around the airport. Overall, these things are terribly flimsy and don't hold up under the circumstances they're needed for. The really sad thing, is that there are no other options! I'm afraid we will simply use a large luggage cart to carry the dog next time.

Product was received promptly and was good as new except on of the clamps for one of the wheels was broken off. I worked around this and am satisfied with the final result

I installed this on my pet carrier to fly my 75lb dog. It made it through the airport, but barely. The wheels practically came off by the time I got home.
