desertcart.com: Chugga Chugga Choo Choo (All About Sounds): 9781910716236: Garcia, Emma: Books Review: Love this series, but this is our FAVORITE!! 🚂 - My son’s speech therapist uses the TOOT TOOT, BEEP BEEP book in her office. All of the books in this series are fantastic for encouraging speech! You can simplify them or change the wording depending on what types of vocabulary you’re working on. The pictures are cute and grab my son’s attention. He’s 2.5. What I love about CHUGGA CHUGGA is the story line. It flows really well and has so many teaching moments! He’s obsessed with numbers and counting lately, which is one of the main components in this one. The train has the numbers 1, 2, 3 & 4 written on it, and along the way it picks up little birds. You can count along as you go, or do some foreshadowing and figure out how many birds will be joining the train based on how many they picked up last time (ex: they picked up 1 seagull at the beach… how many black birds will they pick up in the forest?). I love how the train travels to different places. I hadn’t really talked to him about cities or buildings before, so now he knows what they are (he’s definitely a pandemic baby and hasn’t gotten out much yet). You can also ask your kiddo what sound each bird or animal makes. Maybe ask them what the place might smell like, or even taste like (they sell ice cream at the sea shore). He has so much fun naming all of the different colors on each page. The train goes to bed at the end of the story, which makes it a fantastic bed time read. I can’t recommend it enough! I also love TOOT TOOT, BEEP BEEP & TAP TAP, BANG BANG (the cars & tools books by this author). Looks like he needs the construction one next! Have fun with it and watch your kiddo learn new words. Hope this helps. ☺️ Review: Fan favorite - Definitely my 3 year old favorite book!

A great book for children who love trains or just love a good rhyme. My 2-year-old grandson wants to hear it again and again. We even repeat the lines from Chugga Chugga Choo Choo when we're outside playing!

A complete set
Our 2 year old grandson loves these books. Simple story line. Sound effects required! Great little repeating phrases so he can join in. This is book 4 that we’ve bought. (He saw the pics on the back of the first book, and kept asking for another!)
