This is actually the third one of these I’ve bought, I have the one in the video belonging to Otis, one I bought for a friend and one for a foster kitten. These toys are great, they keep cats entertained for hours, I work 12 hour shifts and I feel guilty when I’m at work so I’m always looking for toys and games to keep Otis entertained. I set this as I leave the house and I can see him playing with it for up to an hour after I leave. It will continue to move randomly for a few minutes and then rest until it detects noise or movement and it will start again.The toy is durable and feels well built if not maybe a little unintuitive when you put it together - but I’ve never had any issues with it coming apart and the mat has survived a boisterous 2 year old boy cat and a kitten that loved to wear it as a cape! A single charge lasts at least 2 weeks with daily use and doesn’t take long to charge up - around an hour.Overall it is great value for money and keeps cats entertained and interested.

This toy is just as entertaining for me as it is for my cats! I didn’t know what to expect, but it has completely exceeded my expectations. It arrived uncharged, so I had to charge it for about an hour and a half, but assembly was super straightforward. I love that it comes with replacement parts, and I definitely think it’s worth the price. The toy is also completely silent (without the mat) which is a big plus for my scaredy cats who don’t enjoy the more boisterous toys. A massive bonus is that it’s rechargeable! Here’s a video of my two girls having a blast with it. As soon as it ran out of charge, both cats started meowing for more!

The loudness scared my cats a bit at first but the baby is very into playing with it now that she's used to the noise. The older one seems to just like watching it. String on the worm isn't very strong and broke pretty much immediately but I managed to fix it. Super easy to set up though!

Great toy, keeps my babies entertained and is one of their favourites. It's well made and durable (my cats get quite rough when playing but the toy has not been affected). It's easy to assemble and has a 3 different modes. The only downside is that the cover comes off easily when the cats are playing. It doesn't take up much room and I love the fact that it's rechargeable. Would buy again

I've waited a little while before doing this review....We have 4 x cats of all ages.This unit/toy was to replace a very well loved hide 'n' seek toy that has given up on us!I scoured the pages trying to make the right decision for what the right toy, what it offered against the price.All I can say is this one is 'okay' - none of us are blown away by it :(It works - keeps its charge fairly well and they like it in principle, but we all get disappointed by the curtain / skirt that sits on top ...I feel it's a design flaw - our old one the skirt also sat on top of the spinning part like this one does, but it has a top which holds the skirt in place - this one doesn't have that ...The skirt keeps coming off after just a few seconds of play - without the cats touching it - if the skirt does stay on, the stick & feather element can get stuck on it and again makes the toys boring for the cats.I've given it a 3 out of 5 mainly due to its design issues and the fact the cats are bored of it ...Sorry - but I would not recommend this 'interactive' toy...

We had something similar for our cats when they were kittens 7 years ago which they loved, so when I saw this I thought what better for them now they are older (and still think they are kittens!) This is a big step up from what we had before and they all play with it differently. Some like the mat and some prefer without. With the mat it's ore noisy due to the fabric but gives a more realistic gide and pounce game. Without the mat it's so quiet we can have it on whilst watching telly.The 3 different speeds are great. Whilst only subtly different between high and medium, have proved invaluable on low for our oldest fat cat so she can still join in.Also without the mat, the arm can be turned so it's either running along the ground or flying through the air. The ground is the preference of our girls but the versatility is great. Like I said, 3 cats and all like to play differently. The rechargeable rather than battery function is perfect.I bring it out once a day when they're looking bored and it brings excitement to the pack again! In the video you see our cat who has terminal cancer (I know!!) she loves to play like this every day and run and hide and pounce back out onto it.Highly recommend.

I bought this at the start of August for my single inside cat and she loves it.It is perfect for the end of playing when she is still looking to play but I am out of ideas.She sometimes lies beside it trying to catch it or often goes into 'crazy cat' mode running around the house with her energy then pouncing on this to release it on a target.The feather it comes with has had a few quills taken out by her, but still has enough there and it comes with an alternative worm if you want or need to switch.I have tried it in different position and the one she loves is with it on the ground covered by the sheet so I recommend this position to be tried first.The only thing stopping this from being a 5 star review is the stand by mode.The machine goes on standby after about 5 mins but if you or the cat don't touch it within 30 minutes it turns completely off and you need to press the on button to make it start again.This is a real shame as if I am out for the day and my cat goes to look out window or have a nap or whatever, she can't reactivate the toy for the rest of the day.If that was changed so the toy stayed on standby (esp as it's rechargeable so no issue recharging it at the end of the day) this would be 5 stars for sure.
