My BYOMA love affair started after I got their Universal Hero 5 piece trial set. Now I'm obsessed with collecting & trying each of their bright adorable packaged beauty products. It seems lots of people have trouble with the applicator getting stuck. I'm happy to report no issue with getting stuck. The doe foot applicator comes out the bottle perfectly. Because of the smaller opening it helps remove any excessive lip mask so you get the right amount each time. This mask is so thick but hydrating. While it is on the thicker side, I don't get stuck together lips or those odd lip strings when I smack my lips together. I've been using it for about a week & my lips look so much softer. The littles lines on my lips are much less noticeable. I honestly don't even mind wearing this in the AM or PM. During the day it just looks like I have gloss on. I talk for 8 hours at the day. By about midday most of it has worn away, along with the glossy look, but they still feel very hydrated, soft, and kissable looking. A little of this goes a long way. This was earned it's spot on my countertop.

The applicator is just awful. The first tube I ordered, the tip broke off and was stuck inside the tube with no way to get it out. I sent it back, I’d been waiting for over a week for the replacement to be sent. I looked and it’s available, so no idea what the hold up was, so last night I cancelled the replacement and just ordered another one. I received it quickly, luckily this time I knew to try to take the applicator out slowly. The tip is a sponge that’s too thick to fit through the whole and it slipped out of the end of the wand again. Got some needle nose pliers and was able to pull it out. There’s nothing really securing the sponge tip to the end of the wand, just a male end inserted into the female end of the wand. It needs glue or they just need to re-engineer the packaging. 2/2 isn’t a fluke. I do like the lip mask product, though. It is a little more sticky than chapstick, but not as sticky as lipgloss and it makes my lips feel more moisturized for longer than chapstick does.

I LOVE this lip mask!! my lips are chronically dry (thanks POTS & spironolactone) and this mask is a game changer. it doesn’t feel sticky at all, and it’s so refreshing I use it throughout the day too! I’ve had no issues with the applicator getting stuck, in any of the 6 tubes I’ve bought. each tube lasts me about 2 months of use 3-4x daily! will always be a fan of byoma’s lip mask!

This was my second time getting this . First one I got went to open it and the applicator broke inside so you couldn’t even use it so I messaged them and they said just keep it and we’ll send you a new one. The new one came in probably 2 to 3 days so that was great. Got the new one same thing happened. The applicator broke again so I got it where the applicator didn’t fall inside and I super glued it the best I could so far it’s working but not sure how long that’s gonna last.

The lip mask itself is great, albeit a little sticky. Very moisturizing and my lips stay protected overnight. I absolutely cannot stand the applicator wand, though. It does not catch the mask well and I have to make several dips/passes over my lips to apply. The wand is also very bulky. The plus side to the wand is you don’t get your fingers sticky applying the mask with your fingers like many lip masks require, though!

My daughter loves this lip mask. She puts it on every night and helps so much with eliminating cracked lips in the winter.

I love this lip mask! It feels so good on and keeps my lips plump and moisturized. It’s easy to apply and stays on for hours. It is a bit sticky but I’d use it at night before bed and you won’t have to worry about that.

Personally, I would NOT recommend this product. Not only are you gypped out of product, but the applicator is too big for the clear part on the inside and the applicator part breaks off. I literally just bought this item and it arrived about 10 minutes ago. There’s barely any product in the bottle, you can literally feel all of it at the bottom. It’s about 1/3 of the way full. Use a flashlight on it and I guarantee you, you’ll be just as upset as me. I had to use tweezers to get the applicator out. The product itself is super sticky and it doesn’t wash off easily with water so forget about using a paper towel to wipe it off. I understand this product is meant for night and that’s what I’ll use it for which negates the sticky issue but honestly, an elf lip oil does the SAME job and is significantly cheaper. Will NEVER buy this again smh.

I love this lip mask but the last two I have bought have had defective packaging. The doe foot comes off in the tube and you can't retrieve it or use the product. Disappointing as when the package has worked I find the product amazing and one tube lasts for ages.
