## Questions & Answers

**Q: should the reed be soaked prior to weaving? The directions don't mention this.**
A: I order this one and soaked the wicker in the sink. It was then pliable and easier to work with. I order another one and did not soak the wicker and it broke in several rows of weaving.

**Q: Can this be sealed with acrylic spray?**
A: The basket is made of paper fiber so I think it would work. Let me know how it turns out, I would be interested to know!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to do Craft
*by V***D on 28 February 2025*

This was a great craft for my 3rd grade student (8yo). They were studying the Chumash and were recreating tools. He needed help getting started and trying the top when finished but he weaved the whole basket by himself. The material were sturdy and of good quality. The directions were easy to follow for an adult. There is no handle and the basket is small.
