I can buy it in America - where Festool is also an imported brand - for 1/3 the cost! Review: Class bit of kit, I use both of mine for many different jobs but i mostly have one set up ready to crosscut panels and the other for clamping timber for routing or sanding. They are also get used as an in-feed and out-feed setup for the festool CMS. Due to the high price I wouldn't recommend purchasing this table for occasional DIY. What have you found is required to produce repeatable square cuts on this table?** A: I think the reason the reviews are bad is because of the packaging being so poor and the high percentage of the tables arriving damaged. I ordered 2 and both were damaged in one way or another. They sent a replacement and between the 3 tables I was able to rebuild 2 good ones by moving parts around. They work fine though. You may want to get the braces that make the legs more stable. If it is possible to buy local, I would recommend going that route. **Q: i'm thinking of getting this table to replace an old dewalt table saw- can most if not all table saw cuts be made on this MFT?** A: Dados are a problem unless you use the track with a router. Very long rip cuts can be tricky. Otherwise the table/track/saw combination is very accurate, and robust. Safer than a tablesaw and much easier to transport. **Q: Does this include the guide rail? Are there any other accessories I should also purchases for the MFT?** A: There is a difference between a Festool MFT and a MFT/3. The MFT is just the table while the MFT/3 is the table with the guide rails/accessories shown on the Amazon MFT/3 page. Make sure you view the Festool Live episodes on YouTube regarding the MFT/3 (specifically episodes 5 and 68). You will find these very helpful. You can also check out all the MFT/3 accessories on Amazon as well. Which ones you will need all depends on your specific needs. **Q: Where do you find the T-Nr number to register for the warranty? I can't find it anywhere.** A: The mft does not Have that number. And it cannot be registered for warranty. Pros: It has a lot of accessories that make this far more than a simple table to cut your sheets of plywood. The layout for the stops and tabletop clamps are great. The side rails that help for clamping your wood to sand or plane long prices more easily. The MDF top can be replaced fairly easily, when the time comes. The ability to cut with the guide nearly makes this and the track saw able to replace a table saw. Cons: The separately purchased stabilizing leg support is absolutely necessary. They should have been included. The fact that the table is still a light weight, folding table, means that it is not always a stable work surface. Manual hand planers might need a table that can withstand the pushing force needed. Finally, the cost is a little more than I think it's fair... and I own most of Festool's tool library, so that is saying something. In conclusion, aside from the few cons, the table is absolutely a great purchase.
