Great Entry-Level RC Plane for Kids—Fun and Easy to Learn
This is a great entry-level RC plane, especially for kids who are just getting interested in flying. I regularly fly hobby-grade RC planes, and the younger ones around me have been eager to try it out—this has been a perfect, budget-friendly way to introduce them to the basics. The controls are simple and intuitive. While they’re not identical to hobby-grade planes or drones, they’re close enough to help build muscle memory and understanding of basic flight concepts. It’s a solid stepping stone before moving up to more advanced equipment. The plane itself performs well, and I was happy to see that it comes with extra propellers. That’s a big plus, because in this hobby it’s not a matter of if you’ll crash—it’s when. Having spares on hand is definitely appreciated. One downside is the instruction manual. The print is very small and difficult to read, even with glasses—I had to use a magnifier to get through it. Also, like most lightweight RC aircraft, wind can be a factor, so calmer conditions are best for flying. Overall, the kids had a blast with it, and it’s a great starter option for younger users who want to see if they enjoy RC flying without a big investment.

Fly indoors anywhere
This drone model has a foam plane body that first off acts as a propeller guard and secondly looks great flying around. The drone is easy to calibrate and has a barometric sensor for altitude hold making it very easy to learn to fly. The drone can also do simple acrobatics using the flip button so you can roll front and back as well as sideways. The batteries will get you about 8 minutes of pretty fast flying and they recharge in about an hour with the included trickle charger. Can be flown outdoors in close proximity on still days, lights look great at night as well. The controller allows for about 100 ft of control before it started to lose signal in my yard, so be careful outdoors. Otherwise this is a great little toy drone for flying almost anywhere.
