I went back and forth on finding the best hotpot online and had purchased a few in the past that didn’t meet my expectations. However, this hotpot was a game changer. The pot itself is super sturdy and easy to clean and comes separate from the electric heating base. We used the little sheep brand hotpot soup base and added an equal 6 cups of water to each side and had no issues with leaking. The electric heating base works amazingly and heats up well enough that the soup boils well. It also automatically turns down the heat after a while but if you prefer to have a constant boil you can just adjust turn the heat up as needed. Such a great addition to your home if you love spending money eating hotpot at restaurants. You get to enjoy restaurant quality meals in the comfort of your own home. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone in search of a good quality hotpot.

Good for the price, good quality. but the lower part of the pot get very hot and you have to be very carefully when using it.

This pot arrived yesterday and we tried it right away, and it blew us away. First off, it's all very well constructed. The pot was solid and the plate separating the two sides is connected well. The lid and lid handle feel good and sturdy. Second off, it's well designed. The pot has a small well in the bottom so it can fit on the hot plate without moving around or wobbling. The temperature control is very quick, I left it on low with the lid on until it started simmering, almost boiling, and took the lid off and kept it on low to maintain a simmer while we ate. Finally, this is just so versatile and practical. It's a huge pot that can be used for a larger group of people, but still works for a smaller group in case it's just my husband and I. I'm also able to use the hot plate separately, since we usually follow meals with tea and it is super convenient for keeping the kettle hot so we can steep the tea multiple times without trips back into the kitchen. Overall I would highly recommend this hot pot setup!!

This is really easy to use, it holds a lot of soup, and I love that it's dishwasher safe.

The divided bowl is the right size for two medium portions. I use wakame broth and the thinly sliced beef and pork from the local Japanese market. The broth comes to a boil quickly. The glass cover keeps everything warm when we turn down the heat. At Korean/Vietnamese type restaurants, I am accustomed to the induction heaters built into the tables. Using this pot at home with UL cord may present a couple of challenges. If you don't have an outlet directly on or under your dining table, then having the restaurant dining experience may be tricky. At my Dad's house, the outlet is attached to the kitchen island near his small dining table. We move the table a few inches closer to the outlet, and the cord hangs across the space. It looks like an accident waiting to happen, but we're careful. So far, no stains on the heating surface. The actual pot goes in the dishwasher. I have seen more expensive Korean portable induction heating systems for Shabu Shabu and I believe that this was the best solution for us.

I love this hot pot and I have been owning it since November 2020 so for a year now. It’s easy to control the temperature and easy to clean. It does not leak what so ever. I did test the hotpot when I first got it to make sure there was no leakage. It does make a slight sizzling/ rattling sound but I am ok with that because I know it’s heating and it will remind me that it’s on and hot. It will only make that sound when it’s starting to heat up or when I want it to reach a high temperature. It’s normal to hear that sound and not a defect. The hotpot is not heavy either. Overall I am very happy I got this hotpot since I save a lot of money instead of going to restaurants.

I absolutely love this hotpot. It came neatly packaged. The craftsmanship on the product appears top notch. It does not feel cheap in anyway. The temperature/power dial is very easy to read and understand. The stainless steel is VERY easy to clean. The only thing I had to assemble was the knob that is on top of the glass cover. There is one con. If you want to put the pot back into the box you have to take the knob off of the glass cover first. This was slightly annoying but I will live with it. I did a ShabuShabu style dinner for the firs time with my family. This unit helped with that flawlessly. It kept our soup nice and rumbling. You might have to adjust the dial in the middle of dinner depending on how much soup and your contents are. The dial on the front makes that quick and easy. The 5 ladles it comes with make it simple and easy to fish any contents out. I love the divider because I like my soup spicy while the rest of the family does not. All around great product.

Wow, what a solid electric hot pot. Once of the greatest flaws of any hot pot machine is the time it takes to heat up the water/soup/broth. This is definitely NOT the case for this hot pot. It is excellent and heats up the hot pot soup quickly and consistently. It is very easy to wash and I am overall very happy with this purchase. The pot itself is perfect, and there are no leaks. Would purchase again!

We have used the Hot Pot twice now and have not had any issues whatsoever. I love the controls on the heating plate better on this model than our other hot pot where is it located on the heating element cord. Also love that the cord is not a separate item as well. Absolutely no issues with this product. Used it for Christmas dinner right out of the box. Heated everything well. Each side was properly isolated (mild and spicy). Definitely recommend this product.

I really eat a lot of Hot Pot, I cook it in a regular pot for myself, but when I have guest over I use this. Its plenty big enough for 4-6 people, the divide is nice, can do 2 broths, spicy and no spice for example. The only downfall is and thats why I gave it a 4 star is when turned up it is a bit noisy, has a little rumble from the heat source as it reaches close to boil, but its ok. The gas ones are better, but you have to fuss with buying the bottled gas, so its a trade off, one more thing, be very careful no one trips over the cord, could be very dangerous especially around young children. Over all I like it.

Love hot pot, and love how easy this is to both use and clean. It's quite huge, and works really well. The heat is very consistent too, so much easier to adjust than a flame. Have had 4 hot pots at home so far...looking forward to more!
