They are a perfect fit. I wear Rockports in a size 8 wide and these in 8 wide are the same fit. Comfy. There is a little extra room in the boot (like an extra 10%) when wear them with a thin sock (especially in the toe area). But even then you can lace to the fit you want. There is no slipping at all. Attractive. Give great ankle and arch support. And look great too.

Die Schuhe werden täglich im Gelände benutzt und sind sowohl bequem ( wenn man breitere Füße hat) als auch wasserdicht. Außerdem sehen sie gut aus. Kaufempfehlung!

These are the best "out of the box" boots I've ever used. Right away I was able to take them on a full day 11km hike, without any issues. These boots feel like they were formed to my feet. 100% waterproof after a boot protector spray. Had to send back and gt a half size larger as my regular size was a bit tight. Exchanged pair arrived quickly and fit like a glove. So maybe order a half size up from your regular shoe size.
