I have been using a whey protein everyday for quite some time. I have been using what most people would consider the "gold standard" and tried basically all of their flavors that sounded worth a try. After buying other Amazon branded products and being pleasantly surprised with how good they all have been I finally decided to pull the trigger on trying their whey protein.The own pwr chocolate cake batter tastes really good. It really does have the same smell even as a box mix cake. As far as tatse is concerned it is a 5/5.It mixed well with just water also. I use 2 servings in one shake and use a small shaker, it took maybe a little more shaking to get it mixed as compared to the gold standard but I think this is more with the serving size. For this own pwr it is 37g a serving. For the gold standard it is 34g. So it is possible the extra 6g for two servings was the reason for it taking a little longer.For nutrition, I would need to use this product exclusively and for a long period of time to really be able to tell, however as long as it actually has the 25g protein per serving and is 140 calories per serving that is fine by me. All whey protein has naturally occurring bcaa's. So that is no different here.Overall Amazon has provided another very good product, at a competitive price. I will be buying it again. My only hope is that they expand the flavor range.

I am comparing to Optimum Nutrition as that is my brand of choice. This is a cheaper and more grainer whey protein, but I found the taste is acceptable and if you run a blender then the grains dont affect the consistency. I tried the Strawberry flavor, and I do like it. I would consider switching from ON if the prices are consistently lower and there is a variety of flavor offerings.

Ill be honest i want expecting much from an in house brand. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tastes. I've mixed it with water, milk, and even coffee. Most whey protein powders do the same thing add protein to your diet. Going over the ingredients it's pretty basic stuff and the amino acid mix is in line with most major brands. Here's where it gets good. Gluten free (my wife is sensitive) and cleared by informed sport.com to be banned substance free (for those who get tested in competition) up side you can get or from Amazon for about the same price as everybody else, it mixes great, tastes good and is banned substance free. I have noticed that my recovery time is shorter but i can't say it's the protein but when you're over 40 anything that works is a step in the right direction. It's worth the try

Tried the Chocolate Cake Batter and found it to be excellent. The smoothest of all price comparitive protein powders I’ve tried. Dissolves easily within a blender bottle and the taste is excellent.As a side not I have acid reflux and typically a chocolate protein powder will cause a flare up but this so far has not affected me. It’s a keeper.

I've always liked using casein/whey blend proteins during the day or when adding to food; straight whey can be too runny and casein obviously far too thick. I've used brands like PEScience for years and have always liked the flavor and consistency of their protein but decided to give this Amazon brand a shot. I bought the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor and have really enjoyed the flavor and texture of the protein!It blends very well when drinking it in a shaker bottle at the gym, which is how I've used it primarily. I'll be honest, the texture isn't as awesome as I would like when adding it to oatmeal or other baked goods, BUT it does do the job and doesn't make my food taste too gritty or anything which can be a common side effect. I'd like to try out the Chocolate flavor next as I'm assuming it will have a stronger flavor. I would recommend trying this out but would like if the texture could be a tad less grainy.

It mixes well, the price is good. The strawberry flavor is decent, the after taste is very Metallic like.update, the metallic taste only happens after brushing my teeth in the morning....weird. Maybe I'll stop brushing.**Update**I still get a hint of a metallic taste and it's not shaking up well. I like Amazon and not sure if I like this protein because I like Amazon. When I compare it to the taste of my other protein AllMax Hexapro it doesn't taste as good.

The taste of the vanilla is 8/10, tastes fake but good! blending-wise it worked out well with a shaker cup or blender but stirring with a spoon left big delicious clumps but i don't mind, it all goes to the same place! Seriously it's good protein and it's $14 for 28 servings. Why spend $40 on a sticker stuck on the same container? no seriously most protein powders are processed at the same facilities and are sent to name brand companies to be packaged with their sticker on it... just buy the stuff okay

This is Amazon private label protein but gosh darn $16 for 5 lb that's the best deal in the world the flavor is 6 out of 10. Mixes very well. I add five drops of stevia liquid flavoring and these shakes taste amazing!
