Best for dogs with food allergies
We love this dog food for our dog with IBD! Our dog has IBD due to food allergies and we tried prescription dog food with no relief. We tried this as the protein is different and NO issues. It smells but we just store in our garage in an air tight container and our dogs love it.

High Quality Dog Food
A little backstory: I have two cairn terriers, Betty and Rosie. Both of them had been suffering from diarrhea on and off. The tests at the vet showed no parasites or any definitive cause, so she prescribed medication to manage the symptoms and I went on the hunt for high quality dog food. A year or so ago, I came across Forza10 Colon Phase 1 dry food and immediately decided to try it. Neither of my girls have had any digestive issues since making the switch. NOTE: I am not providing veterinary advice or claiming that this food cured any diseases, I'm just reporting that Betty and Rosie have had a great experience with Forza10. This is a new version of the food I found last year. I was nervous when I found out it was reformulated, however, both girls have been eating it for about three weeks now and they've had no digestive health issues. They both love the taste. Prior to giving them Forza10, I would need to come up with creative toppings to make them finish their meals. Now, they both clean their plates. The smell is pretty strong. I've gotten used to it, but when you open the bag for the first time, you're likely to be surprised by the strong stench. Each piece of kibble is about 1cm x 1cm. That's a little big for Betty, who's only 10lbs, but she takes her time and happily eats it. Rosie is bigger, about 18-19lbs, and she has no issues with the size. The price is pretty high, but I consider it worth it. I had the vet review the ingredients list and she gave it a thumbs up.

Good Bulk Fiber
Useful dry food to bulk up your pet's stool. When Vine dropped this food in my "just for you" list I nearly dropped my phone! I've been feeding the Forza Renal Diet Wet food and dry food to my CKD cat for a month, and she's doing so well on it, that seeing Forza10 - Dry Dog Food for Healthy Colon & Digestive Support, 22 lb Fish Flavor," I was delighted to have the opportunity to try it with my allergy-ridden mutt. My dog started having allergies to her usual foods and hives that were horrible. I switched her wet food, but she sneaks into the kitchen and steals the cat's dry food! Forza is an expensive food for me to buy on my budget, and losing cat food was making me crazy. Now that I have this Forza dry dog food, I offer it to her to keep her away from the cat food. The first day my dog was on this dry, her stool bulked up tremendously - I mean - she had humongous sized stool like never before. Basically, the greens in it, plus the fish really made for some impressive stool! The tradeoff was that it wasn't too firm, and after two feedings she had diarrhea. That warned me that too much of this food is too laxative. Adjusting the Forza Dry at this point has come down to using it as "treat" food instead of a "food food", in the same way that Is use it for the cats. A little helps, but a lot (as directed on the package) is too much. I read in another review that they'd added poultry solids - and I might be inclined to say that for dogs with chicken allergies, this could be bad. Fortunately my dog seems okay with a little chicken and turkey. I'm going to continue using Forza Dry as a supplement to see if her allergies improve. She loves the taste (she's a fish lover). If you have a picky eater, this food will attract them. It does have a distinctly fishy odor, so I keep it in a silicone sealed dog food container. And thankfully, the cats haven't gone for it - the size of the kibble is a little too big for them. I'd just like to note that Italy has much more stringent rules on what they put into people food, and from what I can tell, this translates to their pets, too. I trust Forza's ingredients are safer than American-made foods, for the most part. Funny parallel: my dog's wet food is made in Canada. LOL

Hydrolized poltry added, allergy problems.
When they added hydrolized poltry in the ingrediants, my dog had allergy problems. Untill than, this was the best dog food for dogs with IBD. Its such a bummer. I googled it and lots of other dogs had the same problem.

Appreciate the ingredients. My picky eater loves it as she has other Forza dry food.
Just started with this Forza food version. I've already used other types of Forza food and my dogs have liked them all. As with the others there isn't any strong odor as I've sometimes found with cheaper dry dog food. The kibble is small. I prefer larger kibble based on my vet's recommendation that larger kibble helps clean dogs's teeth better. I had to move away from the urinary diet as my vet found crystals in my mini-schnauzer's bladder this last visit so I'm unsure of how well it addresses struvites. As she also is subject to pancreatitis I don't plan to give her very much of this food as it is higher in fiber. However, my labradoodle, a very picky eater, loves the flavor. Although right now this food only comprises about 25% of her food while it's being introduced, I could tell her interest in her food was heightened. As I'm introducing it as recommended I haven't noticed any digestive discomfort. My third dog, a 10 year old mini-schnauzer mix is happy to eat pretty much anything so no concerns there. He sometimes has a little constipation so the fiber in this should be helpful. We're working to get two pounds off him so the fiber should also help him feel more full. I always appreciate the quality of Forza dog foods.

Has Hydrolyzed poultry that had by sensitive dog breaking out
I have a dog that has a severe poultry allergy and this has hydrolyzed poultry in it and it triggered a really bad break out. I somehow overlooked it since I just thought it was only hydrolyzed fish and now my poor pup has sores all over again. I have him back on his allergy meds, but he did like the taste of it, but unfortunately, it did cause him to have an allergic reaction. The price is also a bit high as well, similar to those that are sold by vets as prescription foods for the price, but I've even got prescription one for less than the cost of this bag. He seems to be getting tired of his food so I wanted to try switch him to something else, but that is not going to work since it has poultry in it, even if it is hydrolyzed he is still having a reaction, but his allergy is rather severe as well. It has a strong smell which I think attracted him to the food in the first place, and he ate it right up mixed with his other food for a few days, but unfortunately it will not work for him.

Great product, goo quantity, and safe, great value
Awesome sized bag of food. Great value for the money. Has a somewhat fishy scent to it, but pretty much smells like any dog food brand that contains salmon. Its not over powering or anything. I mixed it with our normal dog food, and my dogs ate it fine. Pets seem to be happy with it, and it must taste good since they ate it without issue. I also gave it to them without the regular food, and they still ate it fine. No side effects, or tummy troubles from this brand. And again it is a decent sized bag, so it should last you a while, especially if you have one dog. It is worth it to receive the benefits of a natural dog food that is digestive sensitive.

Great high-quality alternative to pricey prescription food!
Finding a dog food that actually agrees with a sensitive stomach without needing a vet's prescription can be tough, but this Forza10 formula has been fantastic. It’s clearly high quality with healthy, limited ingredients that make it super easy on their colon and digestive system overall. My dogs absolutely love the taste and gobble it right up without any fuss. Fair warning though—it definitely stinks when you open the bag! But honestly, it’s dog food, and as long as they enjoy it and it agrees with their tammies, I really don't mind the smell. It is on the pricier side compared to standard store kibble, but it is significantly cheaper than the veterinary prescription diets we were looking at. If you need a reliable, healthy, limited-ingredient option for digestive support, this 22 lb bag is well worth every penny.
