JBL you did it. I have been looking for a sound bar that would compete with my 5.1 stereo setup. I have a high end receiver/sub/speakers and it has been demoted to the basement. I have really enjoyed the 1000MK2 device and finally I can say good bye to my speaker wires. When having family over to watch a game I can take one speaker put it in the dinning room and the other outside to the bbq and engage that broadcast mode. Also it’s great for surround sound for movie night. App is actually easy to use (thank you) so many apps are not. Super simple and easy to setup and everything connects well. While working in my home office I often kick on music with the app and use my smart device as the remote control. It just works. It’s very reliable. Great job to the developers and engineers that have the device flash low battery when it’s time for the side speakers to dock. This device was a pleasant surprise. Happy to rate it so highly and folk's it’s worth it.

Great quality love it. However, base is a bit much fyi. If you like having to turn up the volume during talking scenes and turning the volume down during action scenes than this is for you! Yes still very basey on lowest base setting. No the speaker would not work when I just unplugged the base. But again solid speaker.

As someone who's new to Dolby atmos, it's not bad... Coming from a older JBL sound bar that's around 7 years old, this sound bar is much better....better for the price I paid .. I'm not one 100 percent convinced. I like being able to take apart the sound bar apart while I'm in the kitchen or outside area. The rear speakers do a decent job, what? I'm trying to spread it out since I have a large open area.. I went ahead and bought some speaker stands just to get the full Atmos effect and as I mentioned new to this but, should have been blown away.. not really there.... I'll update after a few more weeks.

This is my first sound bar system I’ve ever owned. I upgraded from my old pioneer surround system and I must say this is very impressive! Having two rear wireless surround speakers that detach from the sound bar is awesome! Plenty of power and definitely a cinematic feel when you crank up the volume!

The JBL Bar 1000M2-7.1.4 Channel sound bar System is my third surround sound system I've owned. It is by far the best! You will be blown away by the rich bass, the clarity of sound, and the detachable rear speakers! Setup is easy and Bluetooth connectivity is a breeze. The price may be a little higher, but the value for your money is remarkable! You will not be disappointed!

Definitely worth it sound amazing and the Bass is also deep

easy hookup, recognized my 4k tv, phone app is great as it has all settings and the remote in the app. left side of remote bottom 3 buttons, rear volume, bass volume, ATMOS setting. once connected by Earc to your 4k tv it asks for Wi-Fi and starts a update. then do calibration, REAR VOLUME ISSUE FIX--first step DO NOT place them by your sitting position, place them very close to sound bar and separate L and R, mine were two feet away from bar, THEN place them where they will stay, the volume is great now!!! Xbox plays Atmos through rears, PS5 pro does not especially on music, turn to priority dolby not atmos and music will play from rears. yes on ps5 you have to change back to atmos. voice and spatial effects are good very clear and crisp. use usb c for rears to keep them charged all the time. equalizer take your mids and bass up a bit, bass should be level 4 and rears on high, atmos should be set at MID. the sub is massive, i did not have to pair it to the bar. still cannot get dts x on from the series x and it may be the TV, and if you plug in direct to the bar you will lose your TV colors and it appeared washed out. so will just leave all on atmos. hope this helped.

Chulada, me gustó mucho el sonido que brinda esta barra, yo siempre estuve buscando el balance entre el precio y calidad entregada, y sobretodo las capacidades de audio que tiene, ya que lo que yo personalmente buscaba era tener un balance para escuchar tanto películas con Atmos como música con esa vibración que JBL siempre hace bien, entonces lo encontré con esta barra. La calidad de material también es muy bueno y tiene todo lo necesario para una correcta instalación y montaje, entonces mi caso sí mantengo separadas las bocinas desmontables y están empotradas en su posición sugerida de mi habitación donde la instale. Ya solo las recargo cuando es necesario.

The product itself is good and high quality. At first, it took a bit of time to update, but it was easy to install and set up. The sound quality is good. However, I'm not completely satisfied because I feel like the item isn't brand new and the box had been opened. The packaging didn't look new, and the top of the box was taped over with 2-inch clear packing tape. It feels like they sent me an open-box item instead of a new one.
