Great Product
Easy to use, scale is easy to read and use. It's convenient that there are two hydrometers in this purchase. Being made of glass, I've already broken one. It's good to have a spare.

Glass hydrometer
The first shipment arrived with a broken hydrometer and broken test tube. The seller immediately shipped out a new set to replace it. The hydrometer is nice but definitely delicate as it is glass. The test tube is plastic but does the trick well. Overall I'm glad I chose this dual hydrometer set.

Good price, good product
Two great glass alcohol hydrometers, both of them read the same reading in various liquids so I’d assume there is some sort of calibration in the production. The cleaning brush was flattened beyond recognition and the plastic graduated cylinder was melted?/bent on the bottom so you have to hold it slightly sideways to get an accurate reading, but if your checking your bucket or carboy works great- it is boGo so I can’t complain to much.

this device works as designed as long as the user understands its use...
based on the negative reviews of this device, I believe most of those people are confused as to what this hydrometer is actually used for. The complaint that it just drops to the bottom of the bottle means that you have zero water in your mash product and that is because this hydrometer is used for the mash BEFORE distillation, not after to find 0 to 200 proof point. If you are making a mash, meaning during the fermenting phase, and you need to know the ABV "before" distillation, this is the tool you need to use; However, AFTER you have distilled your liquid "mash", you need to use ANOTHER hydrometer, Alcohol Meter Test kit 0 to 200 proof, which you can find one of those at the link below; you will notice how different they both appear. For example, using THIS hydrometer in the mash before distillation and you have, say an 8 ABV, then you can assume your DISTILLED product will be around 130 proof. to verify that, you will need to use the 0 - 200 proof hydrometer on the distilled product.https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0B1MMVRMS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsgood luck to all!

Works great, and is easy to read.
This hydrometer is great, and there are two!!! Both have protective cover boxes a beaker and cleaning brush.I like this hydrometer most for being easy to read, the gradations are color coded and wide so even a middle aged man in the late evening brewing in the basement can read it. Even in heavy bubbles it's pretty easy to figure your gravity. Two are awesome because hydrometers are fragile and can easily be broken by accident (no gravity readings on 3 of the last batches as i broke my last one in the drying rack;/) . Also, the hydrometer doesn't displace very much liquid so over flows in the beaker or thief are less frequent. These are winners, and for a sweet price.I highly recommend them.
