I originally bought these because Gary Brecka recommended this for sleep. Ever since taking these I have noticed I sleep a lot better. The good news is I only had to take them for a few months and I noticed a big difference. Now I don't need to take them anymore. If I ever have trouble sleeping again I will take them. Just a tip: It does take a few weeks to actually notice a difference. They weren't magic and it took some time-- I did not notice right away.

Highly recommend Sam-e to those with seasonal depression. Been taking this supplant for many years; growing up in AK with the long dark season I never had to take antidepressants. Amazing product.

I love LEF supps and they are typically of great quality and value for their ingredients and highly effective. I took one star off because these upset my stomach. It's a common issue for Sam-E products and I've experienced it with others as well. It's important to note that it says to take 4/day for mood support and 3/day for joint health so it's not a lot of product (15-20 day supply) which I didn't notice until I bought them. I was only taking one/day and could feel it. This may change over time and depends on the person. I still think it's a good product, just not for me.

I have been taking Sam-E for years for my joints. I recently switched to this brand from another popular name brand and have not noticed any degradation in how it works and my pocketbook is happier! These are sealed in foil, which is how they should be packaged. No complaints, these are working as expected. They also seem to give an uplift in my mood as well (or is that the lower cost?). EDIT: I am still using this product months later and it is still working as expected.

I've been taking this to potentially stimulate cartilage regrowth. I have gone through a few boxes, and I'll tell you what, my previously wrecked shoulder is doing great!

Would not recommend. I’ve been using SAMe for awhile now and it significantly improved my mood. I tried this brand and had stomach pain within a day that went away when I stopped using it. AOR brand works much better.
