Has anyone compared the systane hydration pf with the systane ultra pf? the hydration are more expensive and ingredients are similar.

The difference is the sodium hyaluronate, which is in the “other” ingredients. I believe a similar ingredient is used to maintain moisture in skin. The Hydration PF drops are somewhat thicker and temporarily make my vision blurry but the relief is much longer lasting and they just work better. The Ultra PF are like putting water in my eye. They do not provide much relief for me and I have to use them so frequently (several times an hour) as a result so I will no longer buy them. Whether the Hydration PF would be better for you depends on how bad your dry eye is. I only need these every few hours so I am much happier with the results. My eye surgeon recommends these over the Ultra PF. I am allergic to the carboxymethylcellulose used in other brands of drops like Retaine or Theratears.

I see in the ingredients list that there's no redness reliever. Do you find it reduces redness just by reducing the dryness? Thanks

Is that really a new version of the drops? i bought drops here a couple of months ago as a new version but they sent me an old one.

This new version of eye drops is a major improvement over the previous version. I’ve tried all OTC brands I have severe dry eye condition Sustained Hydration PF is the only one that gives me relief.
