I bought these for my grandson to use at school. With the virus going around they have to be careful with everything they touch at school. He has used these several times and they have one a good job sharpening his pencils...Great price for some saftey at school

I purchased these alongside coloring books for my 7-year old son. Full disclosure, I am an overprotective parent! I was worried about him hurting himself on these, but he can handle them just fine. But, it probably is best for an older child, as a really young kid could potentially cut themselves on the razor if they were playing with it, instead of using it for it's intended use. They are easy to use for a kid, he like the bright colors and it's easy to take off the lid to clean out the pencil shavings. My son did have one break, but it was another kid who broke it at school. So, I don't really know enough details to elaborate on how it broke, but I know that particular kid was probably aiming to break it on purpose...not that it was a flaw in the product. But, they're inexpensive and easy for him to use. No complaints here!

These are the best inexpensive sharpeners. My colored pencils get a good point and I have a ton of colored pencils. My 5 year old lent me one of these when I was over his house and then his mom told me she ordered them off of Amazon.

They sharpen the pencil beautiful but then when you go to use it, the point is broken where it meets the wood. I was hoping that didn’t happen with these. Just don’t sharpen it too much

I use colored pencils and watercolor pencils. I needed hand pencil sharpeners as my electric/battery one was eating the pencils. You get 3 , perfect for giving one to another colorist. This doesn’t eat up my beautiful pencils like Prisma, Arteza, or Crayola. This set is a must have. Price was reasonable. I highly recommend them. Great seller

I will admit this sharpener was more pricey than what I would normally spend but it was worth every penny. It stays closed to keep the shavings in and the pencil always comes out sharp, even if it’s a cheap one.

These work really well! They sharpen to a good point without taking too much off the pencil. And the case holds more pencil shavings than I thought it would have. Favorite sharpener I've bought so far.
